Ferienunterkünfte in Chintheche

We spent a few days over the new year at Mariette's cottage with our 2 sons. Everyone had a great time. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and steps away from a private beach. It is very peaceful. Mariette kindly organised for us to buy fish to cook on the BBQ. We will definitely return when we are in Chinteche again.

Heel mooie locatie, lekker eten, vriendelijke mensen en een leuke sfeer. De kamers zijn misschien wat ouder maar wel proper. Het eten is er heel lekker en schappelijk van prijs. Wij hebben genoten van het heerlijke water en de water activiteiten die je er kan doen.

The Dream House Malawi offered us a holiday and a break that we needed. Quiet and private space. We enjoyed our stay among the locals who embraced us as family. We will definitely come again to Dream House.

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location is fantastic — right on the water — and the room is even better. My friend and I couldn’t believe the view from our room the entire time we were there. It’s super cozy and the ceiling fan is really the cherry on top. The staff are incredible. Guacamole (the manager) is a legend and everyone else is wonderful. The food is delicious, the burger and pizzas in particular. You can even order food and have it delivered to your room. They also offer local boat tours via Sunset Tours; $20 a person for a half-day boat tour complete with snorkeling, cliff jumping, and even a close up of fish eagles swooping in and grabbing fish. The host is also incredible, by far the most helpful host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Extremely helpful and kind. The price is also a total bargain. There’s also an atm only a 5 min walk away if you need cash. Simply put, this place is Heaven on earth.

A beautiful spacious house, with large garden leading onto a white Sammy beach. The house has many original features, making it memorable. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed lounging in the garden, swimming, paddling around in kayak and local boat trip. Really recommended for a relaxing time.
