Nestled in a conservation area of the Heaton Mersey Valley, it is a little piece of country in the town. It is surrounded by beauty spots, shops, restaurants and transport links. There is a traditional English pub at the top of the road.

Many event venues are within a short distance , as is junction 19 of the M6. Manchester airport is a 25min drive away.
