TLC: The Lake Cottage

TLC is a comfy cottage on a private 6-acre lake 15 minutes from Helen, and very close to many vineyards and hiking trails. Paddle a Jon boat or paddleboards, fish, swim, relax on a large deck, walk, dine on the screened porch, grill, and enjoy the fire pit. We are handicapped accessible and pet friendly (please bring your own pet beds and blankets). Wifi and smart TV are provided as well as DVD’s, books and games. No cable TV or satellite TV. No RV or travel trailer hookups. Great getaway!

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.

If your idea of a vacation is serenity and relaxation, then the Deerfield Cottage is for you. The property sits on 12 acres, nestled in the Wayah valley just six miles from historical Franklin, NC. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.

We have kept a rustic theme but have the modern comforts of today including wifi, usb ports, heat/ac, a large patio with an hot tub and a cozy gas fireplace. We are located 3 miles from the trendy shops and fabulous restaurants of downtown Clayton. 7 miles north of Tallulah Falls. Wineries, distilleries, golf courses, boating, waterfalls and hiking are also nearby.

Complete with a queen bedroom, a twin/day bed and then a queen bed in loft ( comfortably sleeps 4 adults and one child). We are conveniently located 10 miles from I-85 exit 1 on S Hwy 11. 20 minutes from Clemson, 8 minutes from Seneca, and just a short drive to many hiking trails, lakes and parks in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.
