Having the option of staying on a sailboat in a marina was absolutely wonderful since we were able to have views of the beautiful lake and 360° views of the hills in the area! The location was perfect and could’ve been within a good walk to town, although it was too hot to walk when we were there. The marina was quiet, but picked up a bit Friday afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed the clubhouse, which has a nice under covered seating area that made it a great respite from the heat. The bathrooms & showers were clean and the Harbormaster, Mark was very nice. There was a bit of confusion on the time when we arrived to check in. Chuck asked our ETA which I provided and we arrived a few minutes before then. I did not text when we arrived since I had already given our ETA, so we did wait around for a bit for him, but I think he thought we were going to text when we arrived. It wasn’t a big deal because we were enjoying the scenery in the area. We really enjoyed ourselves there!

No TV or stove but was okay with microwave and hotplate provided. Everything was very clean and easy to follow directions were provided. I enjoyed sitting outside on the rear deck in early morning and at sunset. Very quiet and peaceful.

What an amazing experience. We had a great night in the aft room of the boat. It was cute and quite cozy. We enjoyed seeing the ferry coming and going and watching the stars from the deck at night. Lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. It made for a memorable anniversary!

Sleeping on a boat is magical. Gig Harbor is quaint and cozy. Combined they make a refreshing combination to counteract life's monotony.

Evan was an incredible host! Me made me and my partner feel so comfortable and cozy in the space. It was so peaceful sleeping near the water, and we enjoyed all the little personal touches on the boat (lovely art, candles, etc.). We also had fun grilling, and really appreciated the way Evan had everything so thoughtfully arranged. He was a very warm and friendly host, and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the boat! We will definitely be back for more adventures on the water! Also, the sunsets are gorgeous!

This boat is nestled within a quiet marina and is a peaceful unique stay within a convenient half hour drive to Victoria. It's also easy to access the ferry to Salt Spring for a fun little day trip. Really enjoyed sitting on the back step at night watching the worms under the underwater lights - even saw a leopard seal! Dallas was incredibly accommodating, really appreciated the tip for the delightful pub next door - a true life saver for those nights you can't be bothered cooking. Highly recommended!

I've thought about what I could write to describe the magical experience Graham provided by sharing his life and sail boat with us but I've been at a loss for words. The entire trip left me humbled, content, renewed, and excited to come back and sail with Graham again. Not only is the sailing amazing but so is he. Graham and the Santorini II will always be in our thoughts. Thank you from the depths of our hearts.
