Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

Power goes out no problem... generator automatically kicks in and restores everything including TV , and propane heat. Seclusion at its best! And nearby, you can hike, golf, fish, kayak, and swim spring to fall, and snowshoe, ski and sled in the winter. Then return to this lovely bungalow at the end of your active day and relax.
