The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

Das Haus ist ein renoviertes und ausgebautes ehemaliges farmhouse. Es eignet sich für Natur-Liebhaber, Ruhe und Entspannung und hat einen wunderschönen Meerblick Es kann nur 1 Hund mitgebracht werden ( Schafe!!) Das Wasser kommt vom hauseigenen Brunnen und wird labormäßig getestet auf die Qualität. Das Haus ist nicht geeignet für Kinder unter 6 Jahren, weil die Treppen recht steil sind. Wifi ist im Haus.
