Ferienunterkünfte mit Whirlpool in County Galway

Heaven!!! That was our reaction when we got here. Breathtaking views from the deck, spacious accommodation and a very peaceful and comfortable stay. It was easy to locate, google maps picks up on “Mask Valley Lodge” easily! The cell signal can be iffy on the road, so make sure you download the maps and set directions in advance. The weather was rainy the first couple of days, so we saw several waterfalls and streams with milky white waters flowing down the surrounding mountains. The misty mornings were perfect for a walk and hot coffee/tea on the deck. On the last night, we even got to enjoy the hot tub which the kids enjoyed and the adults appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. We will definitely be back!

far exceedes expectations. photos don't do it justice. wonderful friendly hosts who have considered nearly everything. Their eye for detail and pride in what they do is evident. I have already recommended the place to friends and family. expect luxury and thoughtfulness. we ate in Pota and Spideal. went for swims but generally just enjoyed the novelty of the place. extremely comfortable with good bedding and electric blankets to boast. thank you for a very memorable stay. only wish check out was later than 10am as never wanted to leave.

Sarah's place is testfully decorated and set in a relaxing athomosphere. We really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day, after exploring the surroundings. However, what makes the place special is Sarah's kindness and the way she welcomed us. She gave us many reccomnedations just to make sure we would have a lovely break. Communication with her was excellent before and during the stay. I definetely reccomend it!! Thank you Sarah!

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the property was carefully designed, and meticulously maintained, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house is situated deep in the idyllic landscape, far from the hustle and bustle - a perfect choice for those seeking tranquillity and immersion in nature. Every amenity was in excellent condition, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cosy living spaces that were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Irene, the house manager, was an absolute joy to communicate with. Always prompt and accommodating, she ensured that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a secluded escape to truly appreciate the rugged charm of Connemara, Hawthorn House is an exceptional choice. We left feeling refreshed and connected to the beauty of Ireland’s west. Highly recommended!

Das Haus liegt ruhig, für alle Ausflüge richtig. Besonders war, dass Tricia sofort auf alle Anfragen geantwortet und ihr Mann den Router gleich repariert hat.

Patsy’s cottage was exactly what I was looking for at the end of a long Irish Holiday. It was a quiet and idyllic retreat but still very close to town for convenience. My daughter loved collecting fresh eggs every morning for breakfast and feeding the chickens. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge on the grounds. The amenities are especially nice on a blustery, wet day! They are fired by wood stoves which requires a bit of pre-planning and forethought but Gerry, the owner, is very willing to help by starting the fires in advance of their use. The cottage itself has been restored beautifully and thoughtfully to save space yet not skimp on any of the necessities. The drying rack that lowered over the stove by a pulley was brilliant! We loved keeping the cottage toasty with a fire crackling in the wood stove all weekend! Thank you to Gerry for a wonderful stay. It was the perfectly peaceful setting we needed to experience the beauty of the Connemara landscape!

We had a wonderful one night stay in Naomi’s place which exceeded our expectations. Having never stayed anywhere like The Cosy Crann before, we were a little unsure of what to expect but were reassured by the great reviews listed. Upon arrival, we realised the reviews don’t go far enough in terms of describing how great the Cosy Crann is. The setting is secluded and relaxing whilst also being extremely clean with modern facilities (eg the shower). When the sun went down, the Cosy Crann’s magic really came to life as we could enjoy the facilities with the glow from the lovely fairy lights and peace of the countryside. It was blissful! In addition to this, Naomi also gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area before our arrival which was greatly appreciated. 10/10 stay and would 100% recommend to a friend.
