Ferienunterkünfte in Covington

This was a very great place to stay. The backyard was peaceful, and a beautiful scenery. I also want to add that the view of stars at night above the water is an absolute sight to see on a clear night. Thank you for an amazing time and great experience.

Location was convenient to everything. I chose the location based on the nearby streetcar; however the streetcar is unreliable as the main mode of transportation so we didn't even use it. I had forgotten that an on a busy weekend you could easily wait 1+ hr st a stop for pickup. An Uber was about $15 to the FQ. The bedrooms are large. Plenty of towels. Note for other guests- you may want to take extra blankets & supplies for coffee. Beds are made with a fitted sheet and a blanket on the thin side. Also coffee pods were supplied. We were a party of four women and felt safe.

Audrey and her husband were awesome hosts! I was not sure how long we needed to stay and when our reservation ran out we were able to stay without any interuption until we were able to close on our home. They allowed us to park our Uhaul on site (a big deal!) which saved us time trying to find storage. The day after we arrived, they came over to meet us and tell us about the area. The cottage was clean, equipped and safe. The antique furnishings in the cottage are fabulous...i cant imagine the stories they have to tell! The wildlife is abundant along with the farm life; cattle, geese, chickens, cats, fish, etc. You'll never have a dull moment at the Ranch Hand Cottage! We were blessed to have 2 new calfs born while we were there. If you want to get out of the city or share the country with your city friends, this is THE place! Poplarville is such a cute town, like a step back in time. I will be recommending Audrey and her cottage to anyone that wants to stay in the area.

Had a great stay at this beautiful house on canal street with a group of friends. Conveniently located near a trolley stop and overall very spacious. There were a few things that were non functional/damaged that we had to address with host otherwise an awesome stay and no major issues.

this is a special property on Bayou St John that invites total relaxation. Rob is a wonderful host and the location can't be beat near City Park and many wonderful restaurants and neighborhoods! We will be back!

We only spent one night with a few family members. The home was very clean and in a quiet area. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the back porch and listening to the birds sing. We were there for a family wedding but will definitely stay here again if we ever visit the area again.

We loved our stay at Big Mamas - great location , enough space for four of us and felt very safe! Sallie was an excellent host - very communicative and accommodating. Shout out to the roosters , we didn’t need an early alarm clock Highly recommend!

Very spacious and tons of room. We were a bachelor part of 8 and felt very comfortable. Everyone had their own bed and it was never cramped. The area is pretty sketchy but it’s NOLA so we knew what we were getting into. We never felt in immediate danger but there are homeless people are the area. If you’re a group a guys you’ll be fine but I’m gonna recommend caution if you have children. Overall it was the perfect spot for a bachelor party and exactly what we’re looking for!
