This was our second stay to Katherine and Steve's house. We stayed for 9 nights during Easter and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We did have more trash than fit into the outdoor trash can, but it was only an issue because I felt bad leaving it overflowing.

Great stay, the house was very clean and well stocked with all of the necessary items needed for our stay. Plenty of space and the house itself is very nice. Easy access to Jedediah Smith Redwoods park and Crescent City. Host provided helpful information and was very responsive.

Amazingly quiet and peaceful. Not only overlooking the mountains and river, but also got to enjoy watching cows and new calf’s grazing the fields across the river every day. Close to town as well as all the hikes we were able to do. Also had a family of deer spend hours sitting under the cover of the tree out front. Beautiful stars at night as well with no light pollution from the city

The place is great. Beds are comfortable, and the linens smell nice. The showers have good water pressure. The hottub is set up perfectly for star gazing and the upstairs balcony is a fantastic view for watching the sunset. Truly beautiful.

We were looking for something that was relaxing and peaceful. it didn't disappoint us. Jim and Tenea were very friendly and responsive if we needed anything. The Wi-Fi was the only thing that could have been better. The signal wasn't real strong so it would come in and out. It was the best in the master bedroom.

The host was really communicative and helpful. Great location, lots to do, and lots of beauty to enjoy. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, great central location to get a lot of things done and seen.

We loved this quiet and clean get away! Nancy recommended a great Thai restaurant and we enjoyed kayaking the Smith River with Redwood Guides. Close to lots of hiking and scenic drives. We found the Hiouchi gas station and market to have a much better selection when we needed to grab something quickly.

Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly, kind, and communicative from start to finish, making us feel completely at home. The place itself was spotless, and the views were nothing short of spectacular — we could’ve spent hours just soaking it all in. The property is stunning, with plenty of thoughtfully designed community spaces perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful coastal scenery. Brookings is such a cute and charming coastal town, with a laid-back vibe and plenty to explore nearby. Highly recommend this Airbnb — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

This was a great place. So many added touches for convenience and comfort. It was well stocked and very clean! The neighbors are all so friendly as well. I spoke with a couple of them when out on a walk. Great spot. Beautiful views! Highly recommend.

Wir liebten alles an unserem Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und freundlich, wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Beautiful place to stay, the heated floor was awesome. Very cozy. Amazing views of the ocean. The hosts are wonderful and super helpful with our needs. Definitely recommend

Had been to many Airbnb's but I felt this was the best in terms of both view and amenities. They literally had everything you'd need (even a sewing kit). Patrick gave a warm welcome upon arrival. Great view and a good host
