A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Our shepherd's hut is thickly insulated to stay cool all summer, with a fridge to keep your beers cold. Outside, a generous deck and seating area is made for bright mornings and long evenings. Gather round the fire bowl as the sun goes down to watch the stars emerge over truly dark skies. Solar-powered lighting and mains sockets, double and single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water washing up just outside the door — all a ten minute stroll away from The George, an award-winning pub.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children.

A former part of Mendip Hospital, the cottage is full of charm and character, with art work and vintage furnishings throughout. The combination of visual drama with comfort and convenience makes Easel Cottage the ideal setting in which to explore the Mendips. A treat of a retreat from city life.

Brought to you by 'Stay Wells And Somerset', Bowlish Grange is a beautiful house of Jacobean origins. Our guest cottage (Grange Cottage) is available on a self catering basis. We are close to art and culture, wonderful countryside, pubs and restaurants. Visitors will love the historical setting which is at the foot of the Mendip Hills. We are close to Wells, Glastonbury, Bruton, and the Bath and West Showground. The cottage is perfect for couples, families and business groups.

Within the grounds of the our property, it is very private and peaceful, with its own garden. It offers a wonderfully relaxing stay with walks in stunning countryside. There is plenty of wildlife around and deer sightings (especially at dusk) are optional! With an award winning pub a short walk away, what more could you want.

Hulbert’s Place: C15th house in the heart of Wells

This charming Grade II-listed two bedroom maisonette is situated within a row of ancient dwellings, just a short stroll from Wells Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace and the heart of Wells. Each of the two levels are embellished with wonderful authentic details such as original beams, restored timber floorboards and stone fireplaces. Originally built in the 15th century, the house has been sympathetically restored with an abundance of character, comfort and style.

The Dairy is a modern and spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location with all the essential amenities for a long stay or short break. It is the perfect location to explore Somerset and the West Country by car, bike or on foot, with the beautiful Cathedral City of Wells just a 5 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk. Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury Tor are also just a 15 minute car journey. The village pub is also within walking distance of the property.
