The village bay is a sheltered spot to relax, listen to the sea; or walk along the clifftop path to the beautiful golden sands of Cruden Bay. Many golf courses nearby. Shops, pubs, services 3 miles. Take it easy at this unique and tastefully decorated getaway on a working farm in Aberdeenshire. Located just 20 minutes drive from Aberdeen International Airport it is a highly accessible countryside location with local amenities and beautiful attractions. Explore the local area and see the seals at Newburgh beach just 2.5 miles away with adjoining golf course. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and arable crops. The grass fields surrounding Ewe View often are home to the cattle and sheep.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful home in Cruden Bay. There are bookshelves in nearly every room with a huge variety of subjects. Feb 2024: Due to popular demand we have added a Freeview TV in the main living area. It is near to the beach, a short walk from Slains Castle or the harbour. We have an award winning golf course and lovely places to eat within walking distance. We are a 30 minute drive to our nearest city, Aberdeen and 10 minutes drive to our nearest town, Peterhead.

My place is located directly on the seashore with spectacular views and is walking distance to the village convenience store. It has a large, secure, shorefront garden, great for families with kids, solo adventurers and business travelers. It can sleep 4 people but ideally suited for couples. Quiet and peaceful.

Brimond House is a three bedroom bungalow providing quiet and comfortable living for up to 4 guests. The house is situated in a residential area. The town centre is a 30 minute walk or 2 minute drive where you will find shops, restaurants and hotels. Local shop and pub that serves food just a short stroll from the house. Double garage and safe parking on the driveway or on the street is perfect for cyclists or bikers. Local host well versed in surrounding area just a phone call away.

The cottage has spectacular views, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). A small enclosed yard to the rear and a bench and parking area to the front. Included in the price is electricity and heating, a basket of logs and kindling for the log burning stove in the cottage, cupboard items such as tea, coffee. There is a smart tv, should you wish to use it (the view is the best tv!) and WiFi. The house is a traditional fishing cottage in a quiet village situated on the NE250 route.

Our dream of a Romany style glamping pod has finally come true in the heart of Buchan, near the North Sea coast. We offer a large pod with a double bed and a small kitchen corner, a small pod with toilet, shower and hand washing basin, and a summer house converted as a small kitchen. We are located in the peaceful countryside, 5 minutes from Cruden Bay village and its beach & renowned golf course, 10 minutes from Peterhead, 15 minutes from Ellon and 40 minutes from Aberdeen.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the North Sea from the large windows of our spacious, and stunning home atop the cliffs of Collieston. Fully equipped for even the youngest members of the family you can enjoy cozy days around the fire, leisurely walks on the cliff paths and local Forvie Nature Reserve or building sandcastles on the beach. Take a short drive to Slains Castle, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. There are 3 outstanding links golf courses within 5 miles.
