Ferienunterkünfte in Danakil Desert

This is a wonderful place and Belaynew and his family are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed out time, and came to Lalibela in part because of having seen this place to stay. It's really great, and they have fantastic suggestions of things to do in the town. The views are amazing, as is the breakfast. I can't recommend it more.

We always have a lovely stay at La Terrasse. Michele is a friendly and helpful host, the place is clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped.

Michele war eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Im Vorfeld des Trips hatten wir einige Fragen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einreise, etc., wobei sie uns immer sehr gut weitergeholfen hat. Michele hat immer schnell geantwortet. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und mit dem Check-in und Check-out hat alles problemlos funktioniert.

Appartement dans une belle maison. Emplacement parfait sur la promenade de la plage publique. Une hôte paradisiaque avec Madame Deka. Merci* et à la prochâine ;)

Excellent value. Simple but very comfortable accommodation. Very homey. Breakfast was excellent and well worth the extra cost. Michele and a Eric are delightful host who were very helpful and friendly. A bit far from the center, restaurants or a proper grocery store, but buses run right in front and two major hotels with pools are 10 min away by foot. La Terrasse is perfect if you don’t want the cost or pretentious of the fancy hotels.

Une belle bâtisse, calme, propre, très confortable, ambiance familiale, grande terrasse, située à 30 minutes à pied du centre (mais il y a des taxis partout si besoin). Et, surtout, une grande réactivité de la part de Michele face aux demandes. Hautement recommandable.

Abebe's place is incredibly beautiful, and Abebe is a great friend who will set you up with everything you need in Lalibela (had great food, coffee ceremonies, cool tuk-tuk rides, a stunning hike, a great tour guide who Abebe set up). Way better than staying at some western owned hotel in Lalibela. Easily one of my favorite airbnb experiences. I encourage everyone to book with Abebe, AND similar to what caring people are doing in Ukraine, please book this Airbnb to support Abebe during the current moment in northern Ethiopia, as COVID + the Tigray war have grounded many tourists and his primary source of income. Abebe is a great and kind person and gracious host who deserves your support! Thank you Abebe.

La maison / chambre de Deka était super. Deka nous a accueillis à notre arrivée. Elle nous a accompagnés et nous a expliqué les détails de notre séjour. L'espace en lui-même était incroyable. Nous avions une vue sur la plage depuis notre porte d'entrée. L'endroit avait une atmosphère confortable. Nous avions accès à la cuisine, nous avons donc acheté de la nourriture et l'avons cuisinée / stockée dans le réfrigérateur. C'était important car les endroits où manger n'étaient pas très proches. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour là-bas et prévoyons d'y séjourner lors de futurs voyages à Djibouti. If you are spending time in Djibouti you should DEFINITELY spend a few nights at Deka's.
