The Barn - Downstairs

Two miles from the interstate, The Barn is on three acres of peaceful private property. As you pull on to our road The Barn is to the left of our home. Parking signs are clearly marked. The Barn - Downstairs is a 600 square foot efficiency apartment with a comfortable king size bed, a kitchenette, a den area with a queen size sofa sleeper, a bathroom with a shower and a 55” TV that swivels. Amenities include a patio, a charcoal grill, a fire pit, a pond for fishing, and a nature trail.

Fish from the rear deck and clean fish at the on site cleaning station. . 2 wood swings and a park style charcoal grill.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Enjoy a vintage stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport
