Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. A studio apartment located 10 miles east of downtown Beaufort and 7 miles from Harkers Island. This spacious studio has hard wood floors, beautiful granite counter tops, convection oven, gas stove and large back patio. Access to the beach is available at Atlantic Beach (25 min. drive) or Radio Island (15 min. drive). Ferry services to Cape Lookout via Harkers Island (15 min. drive), Shackleford Banks via Beaufort (15 min. drive), and day trips to Ocracoke via Cedar Island (35 min. drive) nearby

Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Whether you are here for sunning on the dock, escaping to a quite place & water views, taking the ferry to Core Banks for the best NC beaches have to offer, 4-wheeling, duck hunting, fishing or kayaking!

Canal Retreat-10 mins to Havelock-15 mins Beaufort

Our apartment is a 1 bedroom 1 bath furnished apartment over a detached garage. It is close to 900 sq ft. It has 1 king size bed with frame and a trundle bed with two twin beds that can be utilized if you have kids or additional guests. It s best for 2 adults and 2 children. We have a full kitchen, washer and dryer available in the apartment. We also have a 8 foot deep in ground swimming pool on premises. You must be 18 or older to use and or swim in the pool without adult supervision.

The kitchenette has basics (microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, small fridge) not equipped for cooking meals. Off-street parking & room for a boat trailer. No Pets/Smoking
