Orchard cottage. A rural delight close to the sea

Orchard cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom detached property set in the heart of the ancient village of Holcombe in the beautiful county of Devon. Ideally situated less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and a few minutes by car from the towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth. The cottage consists of, upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and another with two singles, bathroom with bath/shower & WC,down stairs a very cosy lounge and good size kitchen/dining room. Dogs welcome, maximum of 2 medium/small ones.

A great value, quirky and cheerful cosy nest of your own to retreat to when exploring the local nature, countryside and coast or as a convenient stopover when visiting Exeter or Cornwall. The caravan sits in my beautiful garden close to Haldon Forest, the Exe Estuary and the South Devon Coast of Dawlish Warren, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Perfect for walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists and nature lovers. Of road parking, A secure back garden safe for well behaved dogs. Safe storage for bikes, kayaks.

The Annex at Waterfield House in South Devon

The Annex at Waterfield House is a beautiful, light, spacious get away. The bedroom has bifold doors opening to a balcony with views over the Rive Teign estuary down to Shaldon and Teignmouth. The en-suite has a shower and separate bath and there is even a dressing room. Downstairs the entrance opens into the atrium, again with bifold doors opening onto the decking and garden, a lovely spot to enjoy the pastries for breakfast. Loungers are supplied for those lazy moments. Ample parking.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach and town centre with its shops, cafes and bars. This newly refurbished first floor apartment has two bedrooms, 1 king and 1 double, open plan dining and living area, fully equipped kitchen and modern shower room. It has dedicated parking but if you don’t fancy driving, Dawlish has a train station. Explore Torquay, Exeter and Paignton or walk the South Devon coastal path.

Lovely small patio where the locals will stop and chat to you as you enjoy al fresco dining and sun downers! A superb location and on the level and close to all the Village amenities and its 3 beaches June to the end of September it can be booked weekly running from a Saturday. Outside these times we offer flexible short breaks subject to availability

Enjoy a tranquil nights sleep in our newly refreshed bedroom. A perfect break away!

Shower+toilet ground floor. Bath/shower room and separate WC upstairs. Enclosed rear garden. Parking in the drive for up to 3 cars. 5 mins walk to the beach, the famous Brunel railway, the beautiful central lawn with its stream and iconic black swans. 5 mins walk to public transport, pubs, eateries and much more.

Private and cosy, with garden view

A peaceful and private space within a family home with a garden view and separate entrance so you can come and go as you wish. We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a place to park your car. All bedding and towels are good quality cotton. The bed is a sofa bed made extra comfortable with a soft mattress topper and fresh cotton linen. Small kitchen and facilities available. Space is for solo travellers or couples but please be aware that bed access is from one side only.
