Our family (of 4 + dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alabama Beaver House. We utilized the convenient fire pit for s’mores every night and enjoyed exploring the surrounding woods. It was conveniently located 8 minutes from the tennis tournament we attended and about 15 minutes from all of our other activities (mini golf, bowling, swimming hole, University campus, and shopping). The house was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Also, our dog felt right at home. Christine was incredibly helpful and promptly answered my many questions throughout our stay.

our son got married about 6 miles from home location. The house was spacious, well stocked, well kept. Although we were on and out, the time we were there was enjoyable. I would like to go back without a jam packed event, and really get to enjoy the area.

This property is listed as a Perfect family getaway and that’s exactly what it is! Our family gathered here for Thanksgiving and we had such a great time. The House(s) were spacious and accommodated us comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful with plenty of amenities and things to do. The outdoor scenery is amazing. It’s truly a peaceful place.

Tanner was helpful with the check in date for my work crew that were staying. My work crew had no complaints for the whole trip, and it was clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while working construction in Selma, AL. The accommodations were comfortable, and the views were absolutely spectacular. We did have a few minor hiccups, but the host, Mrs. Laura, was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. 10 out of 10 — I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Another great stay at the House on the Hill! We love staying here when we are in the area. It is peaceful and quiet, which is always a blessing. Mikel and Terri take great care to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. Check-in is a breeze, instructions are easy, the welcome folder has great information and local suggestions, the home is always very clean, and communication is great, too! It has everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. Our pups love it as well; they especially enjoy their walks around the property. We feel right at home and look forward to booking again!

Becky's little house was awesome. If we come down here we will stay there for sure again. All her little extras that she thought of was exceptional. Her thoughtfulness far exceeds any other place that we have ever stayed. There was nothing that we could have wanted that we couldn't find there. The fenced yard was really nice for the puppy we had along with us. The beds were all comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Becky always answered in a very timely manner. Thank you Becky for an awesome stay. Hope you enjoy the little Thank you that we left behind on the dining room table for you.

We stayed here for an Alabama football game and it was great! Affordable and close enough to all the action. Would definitely recommend. Also, the host Tina was super helpful and took care of us!

Jackie was very friendly, helpful and so accomodating! Jackie quickly responded to every message. She accepted our booking lat minute and was.very gracious! I only hope that we can meet her next time we.stay here.

We needed a last minute place to stay to visit our friends husband for his 50th birthday. All the hotels were booked so we jumped on airbnb and found his home. It is very beautiful and peaceful. Wish we could of enjoyed the home more but we spent the days with our besties. This home is beautiful, clean and very well kept. Highly recommend.

This is our third time staying at the cabin. It is perfect for our annual hunting trip. It allows us the peacefulness and privacy for our get together. Michael is a wonderful host, and we pray that we can continue to rent into the future.

Such a great experience! The host was kind, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. The home was exactly like the photos—clean, quiet, and in a great location. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing stay. I’m really grateful for the hospitality and would definitely come back again!
