Ferienunterkünfte in Derby

We had such a great time at Tara’s place. The cottage is warm and cozy and had all we needed. Tara welcomed us with fresh flowers and little touches that made the stay more personal. The beds were warm and comfortable and we slept so well during our time there. The farm has beautiful surroundings, situated in a valley, but we didn’t manage to see it all, as there’s so much to do around the area (Derby, dairy, beer drinking pigs at the Pub!, St Helens). Our kids loved the animals, especially Tara’s doggies. Thank you to Tara for being such a fabulous host. We hope to be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mannaburne Cabin. Little hard to get to at first and the last bit of road is certainly a bit of a challenge but once we got there we were thrilled with it. Beautiful tranquil setting and the cabin itself is stunning the way it is set up. Very tastefully decorated and everything provided that you need for a comfartable stay. Fully functinable kitchen and comfy bed. Massive shower and good water pressure. The only thing for us that let it down a bit was the garden around it that doesn't seem to get looked after any more and the fact that the outside couch (which would he really lovely to lay on and relax) doesn't get covered and obviously little and large animals go and use it as their toilet......hence quite smelly and not that pleasant. Also found the windows and doors quite dirty. Anyway.....all in all had a wonderful stay there and would recommend it to everyone.

Really happy with our stay, and so convenient to be able to have our dogs with us to enjoy a holiday together. The house has everything you need and is free of clutter. Well set up for riding at Derby and secure bike shed. Very clean!

For a large group of mountain bikers, this place was perfect. Close to trails and eateries, plenty of room to share the house or find private areas to relax. Great storage and facilities for all the bikes. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Great stay! Beautiful lake near by!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to. The location was amazing, since it was close to both Ben Lomond and Launceston, while still remaining incredibly serene and private. The wifi connection was the strongest I had seen for my entire trip through Tasmania, which was a pleasant relief. My only regret was not spending more time there. If I ever come back to Tasmania, I will make sure to spend at least 4 or 5 nights at the Airbnb, and do day trips out from there. Saw a spectacular display of the Aurora Australis at night as well!

This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in on our annual derby trip. Good bike storage, wash down area and plenty of space.

Staying in Mark's cottage was the best decision. The place brought us so much peace and we had everything we could ask for. Mark helped so much with his instructions and he accommodated for everything we asked for. I couldn't recommend it more.
