Wow, wow, wow ! Nu stiu cum sa scriu... a fost esenta Maramuresului, nu as fi crezut ca se poate asa ceva ! Locatia aceasta a sarit direct in top trei favorite, din toate calatoriile mele... si poate chiar prima dintre toate ! AirBnb ar trebui sa adauge o categorie separata... Uber Host! Super e prea sec si palid ca sa se poata aplica in acest caz. Gasiti mai multe cautand articole despre Tabăra Internaţională de Artă şi Solidaritate - Deseşti, ca sa aveti o imagine mai completa despre locatie si gazde decat poate reda entuziasmul meu. Daca voi mai reveni? Ma tem ca nu voi mai gasi loc liber, daca se duce vestea...

We are delighted to meet Maria and spend these wonderful days in her place. Breb is a special place in the fertile valleys of the Maramures and Maria is a special person in the right place. We appreciated very much her particular attention and her time dedicated to us, the opportunity of leisurely talks and walks together, that she gave us the possibility to "immerse" us in this unique world. We cannot fail to mention the affection we received from Kuki, her dog and her animals. Her super equipped and gently decorated wooden barn offers a warm and perfect stay in the middle of the landscape. Grazie di cuore ancora Maria.

Wir haben uns bei Maria sehr wohl gefühlt. Das alte, ursprüngliche, ländliche Rumänien mit allen Annehmlichkeiten der heutigen Zeit und einem feinen künstlerischen und handwerklichen Empfinden verbunden, so erlebten wir Maria und ihre Unterkunft. Sie ist jedem zu empfehlen, der das ländliche Rumänien erleben möchte. Grössere und kleinere Wanderungen in der Umgebung geben Einblick und auch Ausflüge sind in alle Richtungen vielfältig möglich. Wir haben uns vom Stress der Stadt wunderbar erholt.

Irina's place was amazing, it's located in the most beautiful scenery possible, in a lovely village, it's nice and quiet and cozy, you can see the sunset and the sunrise, at night you can see all the stars, it's simply breathtaking. We loved the place, it's so nicely decorated, you have all you need (appliances, coffee, palinca), it's nice and warm, all the confort you need in a scenic traditional home, with a nice mix of new modern furniture and traditional elements. Irina is an amazing host, so nice and friendly, she has interesting stories about the village and the locals and offers excellent advice on what to see and who to visit :) We also tried some local foods and they taste fantastic, can't wait to return in spring, also, to enjoy the beauty of nature and visit some more locals :) It's a great place, ideal for recharging batteries and enjoying a peaceful couple of days, I highly recommend it and will definitely return. :)

Je recommande à 100% de venir passer une partie de vos vacances dans cette maison. La famille est super accueillante et arrangeante, la nourriture est extrêmement bonne et tout est local ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour et comptons bien revenir :))

Brought back good childhood memories. Great place to experience a childhood memorie. Rustic, peaceful and relaxing. Not a 4 star hotel. This place is beginning of 1900's that you don't ever get to experience nowadays, yet with a modern touch. Bravo Penny! I'm envying you a bit... Whatever you need, Penny will obtain it for you! Fresh milk cow, cheese, chicken eggs etc. You want to disconnect from all the electronics, play some games, badminton, listen to the water running down or just enjoying the hammock and just listen to the birds or just nothing, this is the place. Plenty of traditional food in the village, careful... you might gain a couple pounds or more! Great atmosphere and super great people. We will be raving of this place for a long time. I hope you all get to enjoy it as much as we did. P.S. Don't ride the Mocanita. Worst experience ever.
