Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

A very beautiful apartment placed in a lovely serene area yet close to the attractions. It met out expectations and beyond. A very friendly check in and check out, homely place. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Nuwara Eliya. They even provide a heater for a decent price. All the amenities were maintained very well.

This place is awesome! It's everything shown in the pictures and more! definitely had a great time. Amazing views from the main bedrooms were amazing. Highly recommend this place to everyone. A special thanks to Mark and his Dad who look after the place very well and were really helpful to us in everyway possible.

Dana hat uns direkt vom Tuktuk abgeholt und hat uns während dem steilen Spaziergang nach oben von der Gegend erzählt. Die Cabin ist wunderschön und es ist toll den Hot Tub bei Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Praba macht super Frühstück und Abendessen! Unbedingt ihre Coconut Roti und das Coconut Sambal probieren 😍

Just incredible! We kept extending our stay! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place with views to die for. The cabin is so beautiful with huge windows and lovely character. The bed is so comfortable too. We had three very friendly dogs keep us company and the neighbours cat! Watching the storms from the upstairs window was incredible and seeing fireflies in the trees was so magical! Sidhu kindly ordered us local breakfast from town each morning and had it delivered to us. He is the most helpful host and always responds quickly. He really goes out of his way to help you and messages to check you’re ok and if you need anything each day. The cabin is truly a place to relax, unwind and you can spend so much time just staring at the view and watching the wildlife (birds, monkeys, frogs!) I would love to return someday. The villa is designed in an old British style with complementing interiors (chandeliers, fire place etc.), with all modern facilities. It had a well equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom overlooking the forest and tea garden. The overall condition of the villa was superior. Facility manager - Mr. Nalin, ensured that we were comfortable and helped us plan our itinerary during our stay. Our family is vegetarian so he ensured that the food we wanted was ordered from the Indian restaurant in the market and delivered to our villa. We got the breakfast of our choice and quite tasty. My son is a special child so we had a bit of a problem in his mobility. Hence, he arranged a tuk tuk for us which took us wherever we wanted to go and dropped us back as per our convenience. We look forward to visiting Luxe Wilderness again and this time with our extended family if time permits...

We only stayed for one night with a group of 6 people. It was the perfect place for this quick stopover! The place was very clean and the beds were really comfortable! Don is a very nice host, he even arranged a car for us to get to the train station, since it was hard to get one because of the holidays!

The most beautiful experience at this villa. Incredible views from the terrace and pool. Justin (the chef) and Nessan (the housekeeper) were incredibly attentive and couldn’t have done more for us. They were aware we were staying over the new year holiday when shops would be shut so had stocked up on alcohol and supplies! Perfect for a big group. Very remote location (45 minutes from Kandy centre) but they have a tuk tuk to take you to the closest town (5 minutes away) for any necessities. All of our meals were cooked by the chef-very reasonable and so delicious! Highly recommend this villa.

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.
