Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Dingle Bay

Fantastic location and view. The property was very clean and well set up. Great for simply enjoying the immediate surroundings as well as a base for exploring the wider area.

De plek is fantastisch. Wij hebben alleen het grote huis gebruikt, maar er kunnen makkelijk nog vier mensen yerecht. Zicht op zee vanuit een heerlijke serre over 200 meter tuin, aflopend naar de kust, waar nog een heerlijk plekje is om de avondzon te zien ondergaan. prachtig aardewerk in de complete keuken. wel enige lenigheid vereist om in bed te klimmen. Het ligt tussen Adrigole en Glengarriff. het is een sfeervol huis met wat ouderwetse meubels. Wij houden daarvan.

Ein wunderschöner Platz, ein wunderbares Häuschen, ruhig, ohne Trubel, bestens, um sich zu erholen und am Strand spatzieren zu gehen. Haus nett eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich .... Kann ich nur mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Der Kontakt mit dem freundlichen Gastgeber war ohne Probleme.

A perfect place to relax with family or group of friends in beautiful Kerry. Large comfortable house with the added benefits of great views, a three minute walk to the beach and a large contained garden which was brilliant for the dogs. Great pub just minutes away too.

A little piece of paradise on the Dingle Peninsula. My family spent 5 days in the bungalow over the Christmas Holidays. The house and grounds are a work of art. It’s so beautifully designed. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tablewear and pots you would need to cook family dinners. We swam most mornings in the private beach and the surrounding bays.

Helen’s cottage is fabulous and has everything you will need on a self catering trip to Ballydavid. We stayed in February- the cottage has a stove and was really cosy - there are amazing beach walks just outside the door - just the ticket with a black Labrador! There are great local pubs TPs and Begleys about a km away but if you plan on staying off peak I would suggest stocking up on groceries in Dingle town ( approx 7 Km away) as restaurants tend to close at this time of year. There is so much to see in West Kerry and Helen’s gorgeous cottage is the ideal authentic base - we will definitely be back. Buíochas o croí Helen!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful location, with easy access to beach. House was spacious well equipped and spotlessly clean. Michelle was very helpful and responsive to any queries. Would highly recommend

A beautiful three days in a magical place and Anthony and Jane were lovely people 🥰

We fell in love with this house. It’s in a beautifully secluded spot with direct access to the water. We swam each morning and it was bliss. The layout of the house is great, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a gorgeous deck that gets the sun. The surrounding area is stunning. We particularly liked the Buddhist centre and vegetarian cafe, which is in a gorgeous spot with breathtaking views. Would love to go back and spend more time exploring.

Admiral House was the perfect spot for family getaway on beautiful Bere Island. The house was clean and had every amenity needed including a stroller and high chair for a toddler. Lots to explore on the island and there are 2 local ferries for day trips to Beara Peninsula. The host and her grandma were so kind dropping off Irish bread and a quiche. All in all a lovely visit would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing time.

Claire's place is everything as advertised and more, we had beach walks, forest walks, mountain treks and came back to a home away from home, it was lovely and comfy. We didn't need Claire for much as there was nothing wrong but we did have the pleasure of meeting with her and that just added to the overall experience, she is super friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. Thank you Claire, we had a wonderful time, and will be seeing you again soon hopefully. Michelle, Paddy, Raychel and Pauric xx

Wow! We can’t say enough good things about this place. Tom and Mary were so helpful, and we felt very comfortable in the farmhouse. It was fun to see the cows going out in the morning and back each evening. We liked being away from things, but it was also super easy to drive to restaurants and fun things for our two year old son. Sandy Feet Farm nearby was an especial delight for our toddler. He chased chickens and played with other kids on the playground. We loved walking down to the beach. We were sad to leave.

Wat een heerlijk huisje: alles basic en off-grid, maar daar waren we op ingelezen en maakte de ervaring nog meer ‘back to basic’. Door de uitgebreide voorbereidingen van Shane waren we goed voorbereid en dankzij de instructiefilmjes en snelle behulpzame communicatie, was het tijdens ons verblijf ook erg comfortabel. Zowel de directe omgeving van het huisje als de regio zijn werkelijk prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Alle tips van Shane waren spot-on en hebben we heel erg van genoten. Dank je wel!!

Perfect. Fiona and Padraig were amazing - they greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, but also were sure to give us our space. Their two sweet dogs, Elsa and Osgar, were friendly and welcoming too! They had milk, butter, eggs, and even a pie waiting for us! We could walk down the lane from the cottage to the shoreline in only a few minutes. I cannot recommend staying with them enough.

Best yet!! My husband and I plus our three teenagers have been touring Ireland on vacation. We have stayed in 6 vacation homes in our 2 weeks. Aileen’s home in Ventry is our favorite for so many reasons: #1 location! You can see the ocean from your bed! Or the couch. Or the front picnic table. From the house you are less than 15 minutes from numerous gorgeous walks, beaches, view points and more. #2 the house is huge! The pictures really do not adequately convey the space. The farmhouse has been excellently remodeled with high ceilings, sturdy finishings, enormous bathrooms. Even the towels were large! We are tall Americans and even we had space in the beds and showers ;) #3 cleanliness. The house was spotless and well equipped. #4 peace. We watched the lambs, walked through the green grass to the castle and ring fort, photographed rainbows and chatted with farmers all from the front porch. I would highly recommend visiting the Dingle Peninsula and staying at Aileen’s.

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

Alan and Elaine are unbelievable hosts. Trust me you get way more than what you pay for in this place. Words can’t express how awesome and majestic the view is of Lough Guitane. Two families (4 adults and 7 kids ages 5-14) stayed six nights and saw a lot of the area thanks to Alan and his awesome recommendations. Five large bedrooms give us plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of very nice and well kept washrooms, a wonderfully large kitchen and sitting areas facing the lake with gigantic floor to ceiling windows give you a great view of the lake. The kids appreciated the gaming systems in the “second” sitting room. There were plenty of toys outside to play with. The kids spent a lot of time on these outdoor toys (racing trikes and mini tractors etc). If you’re into animals, you’re in for a treat as the sheep, cows, ducks and hens were all visiting in their neighbouring pasture regularly. The kids loved checking on them and even gave them names. The water is a very short walk down to the beach (perhaps 100m) on the same property. From there you can canoe or kayak (provided by the hosts) or even swim, which we all did with regularity. I strongly recommend hiking mangerton mountain, which is a five min drive away. Laundry room, kitchen supplies, freezer, spices, there was everything we needed. What a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend.

Had a perfect week here. We took paddle boards with us which was great fun. The house itself was incredibly spacious and so well equipped with everything it was like being in someone's home. The cupboards had everything we needed in the way of condiments, sauces, tea etc. Also having 2 dishwashers made eating at home so easy.

We loved our holiday at Eimear and Eoin's home! It was a lovely place to spend Easter and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The home is perfectly located on the water and had everything we needed. They were very responsive to any inquiries and helpful with any questions. The layout of the house is great for a family with plenty of space and spectacular views. We can't wait to return.

A beautiful spacious home steps away from a gorgeous coastline. We had everything we needed for our family of five. Or grandson loved throwing stones in the bay! Lovely sunsets over Inch Strand. Enjoyable walk to the local coffee shop and pub/restaurant. Most of Kerry’s attraction are within a short drive. We loved it here. Perfect week of weather too!

My family loved being here for Christmas. It is one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever seen and so incredibly peaceful. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very well appointed for our family of five.
