Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a restored retreat with a story in every detail. Started by my free-spirited, hippie mom in the early 1980s, it sat unfinished for decades. In 2020, we brought it back to life with a renovation, honoring its roots while adding comfort. Today, it’s a peaceful escape to slow down, walk quiet dirt roads, and take in sunset views from the deck. Featured in 417 Magazine, it’s a one-of-a-kind place to unplug and reconnect. After a day of floating the North Fork River or hiking the Mark Twain National forest, cozy up at The Carter Farmhouse. Nestled on a working cattle farm, you're sure to experience peace & quiet. Built in the late 1940s, The Carter Farmhouse will take you back to the days of milk & cookies at grandma's house. This vintage cottage experience is located approximately one mile from The Twin Bridge Canoe Rental and approximately a twenty four minute drive to the town of West Plains, Missouri.
