Amazing house by the sea!

Das Bauernhaus Borgir ist nur 10 Meter vom Ozean entfernt, umgeben von mehr als 400 Hektar unberührter Natur. Hügel und Berge auf der Westseite des Anwesens und der Ozean auf der Ostseite. Bei Borgir können Seehunde, Schafe, arktische Füchse und viele verschiedene Vogelarten beobachtet werden. Borgir ist ein idealer Ort um Wanderungen zu unternehmen, Kayak zu fahren, zum Meditieren und um jegliche Art von anderen Outdoor Aktivitäten auszuüben Borgir ist ausserdem der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge zu den Westfjorden. Ein fantastischer Ort für Kinder und zum Entspannen.

Spiegelhaus (Mystic Light Lodge)

Willkommen in der atemberaubenden Landschaft Westislands. Das Spiegelhaus ist umgeben von unberührter Natur, liegt direkt am Meer und bietet einen fantastischen Blick in den Fjord. Du kannst mit etwas Glück Seehunde, Seeadler und viele andere Vögel direkt von der Haustür aus beobachten. Hier ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungstouren in der Region (Snæfellsnes, Westfjorde, Reiten, Wal- und Vogelbeobachtungen usw). Auch spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge und Nordlichter kannst du erleben.

Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Thurranes cottage 3

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Hvammur 2 Bjarg Cottage with a private hot tub

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Rustic Cabin with a View

Rustic Cabin is a micro apartment connected to our farmhouse. The kitchen and living-room are in the same space where you have two beds, a sleeping sofa and a wonderful view of the sunset or the northern lights - if you're lucky. And then there is a nice private bathroom. Steinnes is a farm located in picturesque Icelandic scenery with a beautiful view of mountains and the river running by. It lies 15 minutes (by car) south of Blönduós and 2 km from the main road.

Eyri seaside houses north, with great sea view.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

Cosy and spacious apartment located in a private and quiet area in Hvammstangi. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre where you can find the supermarket, restaurant and liquor store. Private patio with a nice view over the country side. The apartment is equipped with a smart tv, Chromecast for easy access to Netflix, Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee, washer, dryer, dishwasher among most common kitchen appliances.

Our new listing Hrossholt is a luxury, spacious, modern designed house on a secluded farm, with large windows and a peaceful terrace with large hot tub. Very private location. Just renovated, everything is brand new! Views to Eldborg Crater, and Amazing mountain views in all directions. Beautiful nature walks from the property to nearby rivers. Close by is the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Snæfellsjökull National Park.

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.

Stóra-Vatnshorn

Stóra-Vatnshorn is a family owned working farm with sheep, horses, dog and a cat and rental of cottages and our "Old farmhouse". Rural, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The Old farmhouse, built in 1936 is 150m2 with5 bedrooms (all different in size an shape) and sleeps easily 6 people. Fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. WC, shower and heating. Washer & dryer for clothes. TV & free Wifi .

Get close to nature at Bessastaðir. Cozy old house with warm character, big garden, many bird species around. The view is magnificent all year round, amazing sunset and sunrise. The house is close to the sea and it is very nice to take walk to there and listen to the mysterious sound of the sea and seabirds. You are also free to take walk around our land, as long as you are not walking on our hay fields.
