Historic Trinity Square, Margate (The Westbrook)

The Westbrook overlooks historic Trinity Square, is centrally located and just a couple of minutes' walking distance to Margate's vibrant Old Town with its lively restaurants and bars, Winter Gardens, Turner gallery and Margate's sandy beaches. Margate station is within walking distance and other great beaches such as Botany Bay and Westbrook Bay are nearby. The Westbrook is the top (4th) floor of an 18th century building so there's a few flights of steps up and low ceilings when you get there.

Ryders Retreat offers a modern, cosy base from which to enjoy all that Westgate on Sea offers. As if the beautiful beaches (just 200 steps away) and many restaurants weren’t enough, there’s the selection of independent shops in town, the Carlton cinema and Westgate golf course all within 5 minutes walk. Enjoy the prom walk through to Margate or catch the train to easily explore the other towns in Thanet. Remember to head to West Bay for the absolutely stunning sunset before a great nights sleep!

Easy access to the town and beach. close to bars and restaurants and the famous old town. 10 mins walk to Deamland, 5 mins away to Turner Centre, also 15 mins walk to the Train station. there is also the main bus station 10 mins walk which takes you to all the other towns in thanet and Canterbury. Not suitable for children and babies because of the narrow stairs and windows.

Beautiful flat with six sea facing floor to ceiling windows. This is a Grade II-listed building with a rare outlook over gardens and out to sea. However, the facade and railing are in need of TLC. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior. Works are being slowly undertaken to renew the outside but this all takes time. The flat may not be suitable for toddlers and young children as the windows open to the floor. No TV, but a projector is supplied. New! Insanely comfy dog bed.
