The house was our home for a few days celebrating a 70th birthday. The glorious weather helped but the garden spaces with toys and sports equipment provided was great for young and old. Add in the hot tub, bbq and the ample fire pit for the cool evenings and everyone was happy. The house was spacious for 15 of us, with everything provided to cook up a storm and a games room offering a bit of friendly competition when it was needed. We had a great time.

Absolutely stunning place a lovely place to get away from the stresses of life for a few days

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

This amazing, quirky cottage is in a spectacular setting. The house is lovely and spacious, really comfortable and full of character. The valley it sits in is teeming with wildlife: we saw deer, pheasants, an owl, butterflies and so much more, all only footsteps from the door. It was such a treat. Sam and Mark were wonderful hosts, very unobtrusive but easily contactable and helpful if needed. It was the perfect place to unwind for a few days with the family. We had intended to go for out and about, but instead, we spent a lot of time enjoying the garden, the pond, playing games in front of the log burner, cooking and eating together in the well-equipped, expansive kitchen and generally having a great time. We would love to return another time. Thank you to Sam and Mark for sharing your Enchanted Mill and the lush valley. Missing it already :-)

Just wonderful. The place was so cosy and we were given accurate, easy to follow instructions. The host was lovely and provided us with lots of information! I would definitely recommend x

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. I went for the Easter long weekend with my mum and friend. Anna is super lovely and made the whole stay great. It was self check in but she was available over message and very responsive. The flat is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had treatments at Annas salon (massages and facials) and we all agreed they were the best we ever had. Couldn't recommend enough!

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

Had such a great stay at Carole's place. She was an incredibly friendly and helpful host, who even gave us a whistle-stop tour of the surrounding area and dropped us off at a lovely pub. The property was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed playing the board games provided and really appreciated the beautiful fresh flowers provided. Thanks so much

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

The place was perfect for what we wanted. It was in a good location, not too far from town (10 minute walk) but far enough to be quiet at night. Along with the teas and coffees there were a couple of croissants with butter and jam and some milk, very thoughtful. You can get straight out into the countryside via a path near to the house. Sue was vey quick to reply to any questions and is a lovely host. All in all a great place to stay. Also, my wife left a pair of earrings there and Sue posted them to us. Very happy wife 😊

Had an absolutely amazing stay and Susan was informative and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Amazing views at the location and the hot tub made it even better. Cannot fault a single thing with this location and we will definitely be booking again! Would definitely recommend to others.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

We had a great stay at Emma’s lodge & would highly recommend for anyone looking for an escape. Very clean with great amenities, comfy bed, great shower, and completely dog friendly - the fully secure private garden was perfect. Location is great too with walks right from the doorstep and loads to see & do a short drive away. We will be back!

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

We had a great 2 night stay at the cabin - it was very clean, homely and in a great peaceful location in the countryside. Carole was very friendly and met us to check us in and gave us helpful information about the place and nearby locations. We loved the animals, especially the goats who were full of character and kept us entertained when sitting outside in the evenings! Would definitely recommend to anyone :)

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

The cabin was perfect, and the garden space was ample, which my dogs loved. I could even let them off-leash without worrying about them escaping through the wire fencing. My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic massage treatment from Claire, the host, and I highly recommend it if you stay there. The cabin itself had a comfortable bed and felt very clean. It also had a powerful shower, which can be hard to find in a cabin. Claire's excellent touch was our three dogs' dog beds and treats. The local walking areas are absolutely stunning, although you do have to drive a bit to reach restaurants and other amenities.

Stayed for my 40th birthday followed directions and used what 3 words worked great no issues finding it. I would recommend bring some food with you as shops are quite far away. The pub wasn't open when we were there and the closest spar had limited choice of food but everything in kitchen worked great. Had a very relaxing stay enjoyed hot tub and sauna. A few places on the local recommendations have now closed but otherwise would def recommend to friends. Cooper loved running around in wildflowers, stream and looking out the huge windows at birds and squirrels. Loved it 🥰
