Ferienunterkünfte mit Seezugang in East Lothian

A fantastic family stay at this wonderful barn conversion. We couldn’t have asked for more. The location is great,just a few miles outside the main town of Galashields (which has everything in it….and some great delivery services) The property was spacious and catered for our needs and our wheelchair user. The hot tub is the icing on the cake,peaceful and tranquil at any time of the day. We would love to return in the future.

Cynthia’s place is well located with great amenities. Self check in was smooth and she was highly responsive and proactive before and during our stay. Great stay - thank you!

We had a wonderful and restful stay. The location is perfect, remote enough to feel like a proper country get away but close to popular places like Holy Island and many beaches. The place is exactly like the photos, very nicely decorated, private with plenty of light and countryside views. Both double bedrooms have their own bathroom, comfy mattresses, and extra soft luxury linen. The single bedroom has no window or bathroom so bear that in mind if you need the extra room. But for two couples this is an ideal place. Kitchen has everything you need, lovely and open plan, a nice welcome hamper. Living room is comfy with Games, TV with netflix etc. Would happily stay again!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön - wie auf den Bildern zu sehen! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Edinburgh - wunderbar, um von dort aus in die Stadt oder mit dem Mietwagen in die Natur zu fahren. Unser Gastgeber war immer sehr gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Ein Nachteil war (für uns) die Auffahrt: Durch den Schotteruntergrund sind die Reifen bei der Einfahrt durchgedreht und bei der Ausfahrt ist der Wagen trotz Bremsen weiter hinab getuscht. Das war etwas nervenaufreibend. Insgesamt würden wir diese Unterkunft aber in jedem Fall empfehlen!

Our stay was just the best. The location was beautiful, peaceful and quiet with its own loch and kayaks which the children loved. It was also close by to local amenities and many places to visit nearby. The house was so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and Theresa had very kindly left us some groceries, a very welcome addition. Pets were also welcomed and it was a great place for dogs to run around in. We would not hesitate to recommend Theresa’s house as it had everything and more that we were looking for.

We had an amazing stay at Seb’s place for our girls weekend! The photos don’t do the space justice, the area is very peaceful and it is located within beautiful surroundings. Seb was very responsive and also allowed us to have a later check out which was very helpful! We also used the boat on the property which was great fun and the cottage was the perfect base for visiting other activities in the area (Peebles, Go Ape etc.). Seb also allowed us to park a fifth car and so he was very accommodating with all of our requests. There were plenty of kitchen utensils/appliances to make our stay very comfortable. Seb even left us some cake to welcome us which was a really nice touch!

Lidsay was warm and welcoming even before I arrived. I felt at home in the space which was spotless. The breakfast and snack options were lovely and always there whenever I needed. If ever I needed a place to stay in Kinross again this would be first on my list.

We had a wonderful stay at Teasses's Lodge celebrating the New Year and my husbands birthday. The house is set in such beautiful grounds. We arrived early as there was snow forcast , we were welcomed by a lovely log fire in the hallway. I will look forward to my next stay.

We needed somewhere to stay for 5 weeks. This fitted our requirements perfectly. Everything we needed for a long stay and more. Very comfortable and very practical. Tha k you Izis.

We loved our stay at Newhall Estate. The stable flat was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, quality linen and it felt like a lovely luxurious stay. Really close to Edinburgh but it felt like another world and we loved coming home and taking a walk around the grounds. Would strongly recommend.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Apartment. Die Bahn ist nur wenige Fußminuten entfernt. Ebenso ist auch ein Supermarkt (24/7 geöffnet) in der Nähe und von dort aus gibt es auch die Möglichkeit mit Bussen in die Stadt zu fahren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Dayna. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, avec des indications claires mais aussi de délicates attentions (chocolats, vin, whisky, petit mot personnalisé) Le logement, idéalement placé, nous a permis de profiter facilement de toutes nos visites et de finir nos journées dans un cadre agréable et serein. Le coin avec le Bow window est très appréciable, il permet de se détendre après une belle journée de marche, tout en profitant d'une vue sur le jardin et de la visite régulière de petits oiseaux. Bref, une destination idéale pour visiter la belle ville d'Edimbourg.

Beautiful ground floor flat in a peaceful location near to the Waters of Leith and botanic gardens. Stockbridge Market and shops and restaurants all within easy reach. The flat is comfortable, well equipped and attractive. I will be back!

Loved Salma’s place, had a homely place, our family had a great time :) Will go back when I go to Edinburgh

The Lake View Cottage was perfect. Clean, quiet, has parking and a beautiful view of The Hirsel lake and all the birds. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of storage for clothes in the rooms. It was lovely waking up and The Homestead Cafe being right outside for a tasty fuss-free breakfast or lunch. I grew up in Coldstream so it was nice to show my son and husband where I used to walk with friends who lived around The Hirsel. Very peaceful for walks and safe for little ones on a scooter. The Cottage also had underfloor heating in the bathroom which was lovely. Already planning next years trip.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Kerry helped us out massively when another Airbnb host cancelled at the last minute. She was very responsive and got her property ready for us super quick. The property is beautiful and we can’t praise Kerry enough

We had a lovely stay, thought the cottage was in an ideal location and the interior was gorgeous, which was very beach themed, which we loved! Very clean and comfortable, we did not want for anything. Would definitely recommend.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful air BnB we have ever stayed in. It was utterly stunning. Incredibly beautiful interiors, super comfortable bed, heavenly hot tub and external space. We had the most magical weekend there relaxing in such peaceful and private surroundings. Don’t even give it a second thought. Just book.

Very comfortable and tidy apartment with bright modern interior in a beautiful old stable block set in the lovely rolling grounds of a country house. All amenities to hand in spacious rooms. Good well equipped kitchen, large bathroom with bath and generous shower, all spotless. Ample sitting room with sofa bed and bedroom with large bed and super-clean linen. Nicola was a friendly, welcoming and attentive host who responded promptly and helpfully to any queries. All in all a great, peaceful and enjoyable stay in a very well appointed property within 40 mins of both Edinburgh and Glasgow. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thanks, Nicola!!

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

Nothing short of amazing! A nature lover’s paradise (even with the Scottish weather). Got dry weather for an hour one morning haha so had a lovely breakfast in the garden. Met two tiny (literally newborn) lambs in the field next to us! All wobbly on their feet. So cute!! Friendly hosts, very clean and well decorated.
