The large wraparound porch surrounded by the lush landscape and natural beauty of the cold spring, creates an environment that you don’t want to miss. Spend your evening looking up at the stars in the hot tub or making s’mores over a fire creating lasting memories. If you choose to be adventurous there is hiking trails, biking, fishing, kayaking and several state parks with lakes nearby. Enjoy!

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Linens are included with this cabin (bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, soaps, shampoo, etc.)

Local Kayak rentals available with in 5 minutes of cottage 10 minutes to Rusty Rail Restaurant. 55 minutes to Penn State, 20 minutes to Bucknell University, and 20 minutes to Susquehanna University. Lots of local hiking trails with beautiful scenery.

Newer construction featuring spacious kitchen, large master bedroom with whirlpool tub, and modern appliances. Basement was just completed in 2025. Now with a separate bedroom and playroom. Large Playground outside with plenty of swings and slides. Outdoor fire pit/grill with picnic tables, umbrellas, and lawn chairs. Wood and lighter fluid provided.

Surrounded by many outdoor activities to choose from including kayaking, hiking at state parks, and only 20 minutes from the Port Royal Speedway. Hemlock Ridge Cabin is nestled in the woods, secluded and on the banks of the Pine Creek in central PA, with the creek in full veiw from the cabin. The property has trails along the creek and is great spot for nature lovers! There is a hotub, grill and firepit to enjoy. Inside is a fully stocked kitchen, Queen bed, and 40 inch TV with DVD player. There is no WiFi and limited cell service.
