Let me start by saying the home is located in the heart of Jacksonville NC. The view is truly amazing! I felt safe, relax and at home. The home is equipped with everything that I needed. Melinda is a gem, she reached out with me a few times during my stay to make sure that I’m ok and have everything that I needed and also informed me the day she spotted dolphins were passing by. Love this place. Thank you Melinda for sharing your beautiful place.

C’était tout simplement le meilleur Airbnb que j’ai réservé ! L’appartement était d’une propreté irréprochable, le lit super confortable, et il était idéalement situé. Le gros plus : un balcon qui donnait directement sur la Riverwalk. C’était magnifique ! On pouvait s’installer tranquillement sur le balcon, boire un verre et profiter du coucher de soleil… Un vrai bonheur. Franchement, si j’avais pu, j’aurais acheté cet appartement tellement il était parfait ! J’espère vraiment pouvoir y revenir un jour. En plus, il y avait un parking juste à côté, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus pratique. Tout était vraiment top top ! Merci infiniment pour tout, c’était un séjour absolument parfait.

Audrey gave perfect instructions regarding how to find the unit, and getting in was extremely easy. We loved the peace and quiet around us and the walkability to several great restaurants. It was the perfect getaway for the two of us for a couple of days. The space had everything that we needed and was very comfortable and very clean.

My family enjoyed staying there. It was comfortable, beautiful, peaceful, friendly, clean, and we literally had the best sleep we have had in the longest time, those beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed the doc and the pool.

We had a wonderful and much needed get away - Exploring New Bern was great - so convenient and we really appreciated how peaceful Lil'dock was. More spacious that the photos showed and so clean and neat! Enjoyed sitting on the back porch and seeing the sunset.

Fantastic stay! Fantastic, relaxing setting.... we loved the view of the water. There were some cute Easter decorations inside. The two dogs that live there are amazing! We missed our dogs so much and loved that theirs came to visit! Perfect stay for our family!

The review provided was actually not the Salty Seahorse, but to a single home in Kure Beach, one block from the ocean. Due to an unforeseen maintenance need, Carrie Ann reached out and offered her newly acquired Kure Beach home for our upcoming stay in Wilmington. Host, Carrie Ann, was very attentive and accommodating and luckily had a location where we could stay. The home was spotless, very nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen - plenty of everything needed! The bathroom provided toiletries and an ample supply of linens. The furniture was comfortable, including the porch table, chairs and umbrella - where we enjoyed coffee each morning. There was a slight drain issue to which we reached out to Carrie Ann and she immediately responded. The problem was quickly and thoroughly dealt with within about an hour of my reaching out to her. I would highly recommend this home and, Carrie Ann exceeded my definition of a super host or prime host! Excellent experience!

Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

We stayed at Ric and Chelsea’s place for a week and everything was great! House was wonderful and exactly what our family needed. Lots of things to do at the house and in a very walkable location. Ric was very communicative. All around great stay.

Beautiful area with amazing view to wake up to every morning! Would definitely be going back. Glad I found this place.

My family of 6 and pup enjoyed our stay so much. The location was perfect for some kayaking and fishing on the waterway, and just a few minutes walk to the public beach access. The house had everything that we needed including a dog crate which was so convenient to not have to pack one. The kitchen was furnished with some extra cooking items that came in handy since we had forgotten a few things. There was plenty of extra blankets and towels and games for the kids. Overall, the house literally had everything that was needed with so many places to relax including hanging hammock swings, lots of deck furniture, a wrap around porch with beautiful views, spacious dock, swinging bench, and a large living room with big windows. We highly recommend this property!!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

Our stay was so relaxing and in close proximity to downtown New Bern. The mornings were so quiet with birds singing. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. All questions were answered in a timely manner. House was great. Really enjoyed the deck space. We also rented a golf cart and pick up and drop off were super simple.

Jessie’s place was absolutely amazing. Extremely clean and very well appointed. We loved the pool and it was a very short walk to the beach. The location is very close to restaurants and public beach’s as well. The only issue was that our vacation was cut short by tropical storm Debbie. Can’t wait to rent with Jessie again in the future.

We have already recommended MK's place to some others - however, we did warn them that the unit was up 34 stairs! There was nothing in the property description to indicate that and for a couple of 73 year olds the climb with all our stuff was too much. Thankfully we had our young strong kids along! We always appreciate being able to bring our dog along, and he, along with the rest of us, totally enjoyed the 2 private balconies. The ac was plenty cold, the dryer not so hot. Beds comfortable, covered parking a plus, and we all enjoyed the pool. Location was the best, able to walk to every place, and that made it worth the 34 stair climb. Highly recommend Hang Ten Grill for huge salads and best wings ever, Salt Fish for yummy cocktails and deliciously unique entrees ( make a reservation), the Fat Pelican for a fun experience. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

Have to say this location is amazing and so is the view. Easy parking instructions and access into the building. Will definitely book again next time I’m in town for business.

The apartment is on the second floor with a beautiful view overlooking the boardwalk and Cape Fear River. Nice size balcony and large front windows. Comfortable bed and furniture. Kitchen has everything needed. Steps from the center of downtown.

The place was very cozy with lots of walkable options. Easy to drive downtown or get to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Everything regarding our expectations was met. We found lots to see and do in the area. Great seafood and drinks in the immediate area... we love Wilmington NC. Can't wait to return! Jim Miller

Great stay on the Cape Fear riverfront in Wilmington. Mike's condo was as described on airbnb, extremely clean, easy check in, etc. Great location - central to the historic downtown, and walkable to everything. Mike communicated everything from check-in to check-out clearly and attentively. Highly recommend, and would stay here again on my next trip to Wilmington NC.

This place was awesome! It had beautiful views, was cozy, and in walking distance to EVERYTHING. The host is great and very helpful. We will definitely be booking here again.

It’s just a perfect place. Wonderfully situated within lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We adored the balcony overlooking the river. Check-in was well-communicated and easy, and the condo was well-appointed and comfortable. We truly appreciate this rental and hope to return.
