A wonderful place to spend 3 nights on the edge of the New Forest. Fabulous accommodation. Private, quiet and superb barn which was really well appointed with great facilities including a separate spa room solely for our use. Chris was a lovely host, great communication before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful accommodation. An overnight stay with my daughter, spacious enough for the two of us and some beautiful restaurants near by with a lovely walk. The accommodation was as described and Natasha was very helpful. Would love to stay again

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. Had a wonderful stay at the barn. We had good weather so made the most of the beautiful outdoors. Dogs thought they were in heaven with all the space. I would say if you want to take dog(s) it’s not safe if they wander or don’t have a recall as they can get out to the road. Loved being so close to Petworth. Good pubs within walking distance or short drive. Jessica and Rob were fantastic - Jessica for changing my booking for me ultra fast and Rob for being n hand if you need anything. Couldn’t ask for more. Didn’t want to come home

i had a lovely serene stay by myself in the barn. Wonderful walking, views, twinkly night skies and I even saw a barn owl swoop just infront of me at twilight. The barn is equipped so well, has everything you could possibly need, and i loved having a fire every evening. So cosy. I will be back. Thank you! x

A lovely spot with gorgeous views and beautiful blossoms. David was kind and friendly and very helpful. Thank you for the items left for us to enjoy during our stay. My son and dog especially loved the outside area. The property was close to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Bristol where we wanted to visit and a short drive away from local pubs and a coop. Would highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay at the barn. The photos really don't do it justice, and I felt like we found a real steal. It was a great base for exploring Glastonbury and ham wall. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. We had a small issue with the WiFi and Michelle immediately responded to messages about it and sent someone over to look at it. We asked if we could check out half an hour later and Michelle kindly obliged. I really appreciated her flexibility and how seriously she takes hosting. We hope to stay again

I enjoyed my short stay at the barn and had a very comfortable night's sleep. The bed was cosy and the pillows were just right for me. Clear instructions for appliances and everything worked as expected. The barn is set in lovely surroundings, convenient for the road network and getting to Taunton but off the beaten track enough to have peace and quiet.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!

we stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. location was excellent, good walking opportunities. the interior of the barn was exceptional - a superbly designed and well thought out conversion. all amenities were excellent, had everything we needed. would definitely stay again. This is a lovely Airbnb. We stayed for five days, and had torrential rain for the first few — which we spent snuggled up on the sofas, enjoying the fire and underfloor heating, and making the most of the fully equipped kitchen with incredibly fresh produce from the local farm shops. On the sunny, clearer days, we caught a couple of gorgeous sunsets from the hot tub and even had a go at a bit of stargazing with the telescope provided. The barn is beautifully converted; the way it lets the light in is just something else! Our dog also loved having a garden to run around in and enjoyed meeting the neighbouring cows.

Die Unterlunft war kleiner als erwartet, aber dennoch makellos sauber, mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, wir haben darin super geschlafen. Alles da, was man in einer Küche so brauchen könnte… und mit kleinen Willkommensgeschenken… das hat uns sehr gefreut. Der Garten sieht zauberhaft aus. Trotz Hauptstraße ist es nicht zu laut. Sam und Adrian sind entzückend, sehr nett und immer gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. 100% Empfehlung. 👍🏻

A wonderful spot in south Dorset, central in the Isle of Purbeck and convenient for visiting all the lovely and varied surrounding landscapes. Keith welcomed us warmly and enthusiastically with plenty of trip tips, plus a delicious cream tea and bottle of bubbly to set things off on the right foot. The Little Thatch was very cozy and beautifully restored, much it seems due to Keith's impressive handiwork, and brightened by his arts-and-craft work. We enjoyed mingling with the resident fowl (they seem to love the little pond next to the cottage) and made acquaintance of the peacock and peahen. Plenty of deer also to be seen on the broader site. The location is well off the main road surrounded by woodland at the foot of the Purbeck ridge. It is wonderfully peaceful and comfortable. Can recommend whole-heartedly.

Had a lovely stay with friends in Wendale. The accommodation was pristine and had everything we needed for the weekend. Hostess was friendly and helpful and the surroundings were beautiful. Had a wonderful walk over the Cliffs in Cheddar.

Just returned from a long weekend, staying at The Barn at Rotherwood. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and had a great time. The Barn was perfect for us - really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Debbie was very responsive and left us a really generous welcome hamper for our arrival - thank you Debbie! It was perfectly situated, on the edge of Itchenor, and was easy to get to Chichester, Bosham and the Witterings from there. We would recommend staying here!

Outdoor space was fantastic, our toddler really enjoyed seeing the sheep and the chickens. The barn was well furnished and clean. There is a fantastic business park next door with lots of amenities. We had a great time - thanks so much!

Lovely stay at the Long barn cottage. It was peaceful, we felt secured and restful after days out visiting places around Cornwall. The place was clean, nice and cozy. Thank you Sarah.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

A lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights - nothing really to do in the area so more for if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Very well equipped and clean. Excellent host, really friendly and great communication. Would definitely stay again if we were to travel back to the area. We were staying for a wedding at treetop escapes - very close to the venue

Great place for a small group. We were four of us and were quite comfortable for the short stay we planned. Judy was a great host and the instructions she gave were spot on!

Beautiful barn on a beautiful property with everything you might need, and with lovely accessible strolls around the perimeter of the farm, with fantastic views. Hosts were charming and hospitable, and the location for ease of access to the stunning Devon coast was second to none. Definitely one for a return visit.
