We really enjoyed our time at Jeffrey’s house for spring break! The location is perfect—close to so many great outdoor spots and hiking trails. The game room and hot tub were the cherry on top, especially since we had some wild weather during our stay, including heavy rain, river flooding, and even some tornado and hail warnings. Having those indoor options made a big difference and kept everyone entertained. We’d love to come back and explore more of the area when the weather is better!

We had a wonderful weekend hiking getaway here! Leah sent clear directions with photos that made finding the cabin a breeze. Cabin had plenty of room for all 7 of us and the view was amazing. We are already planning our next trip!

Maple View Cabin - A Stunning Retreat! My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Maple View last week, and it was hands-down the nicest one-bedroom cabin we've ever experienced. The Scandinavian design is functional and captivating, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The cabin was beautifully decorated and well-stocked, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was a joy to use, the WiFi was fast and reliable, and the hot tub was a fantastic touch. While the driveway to the cabin is a bit steep, it was manageable with careful driving. Our only critique is the access road from the main road—it’s narrow, steep, and riddled with potholes, which made the drive up less than ideal. Overall, Maple View is a gem, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone seeking a cozy, stylish getaway!

Our family had a relaxing four night stay where we enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, spacious dining room, big screen TVs and more. The house is very clean, modernized with super fast WIFI, plenty of hookups for charging all your electronics, and all the amenities for making yourself at home. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with country scenery and plenty of parking. We can see this becoming a family tradition thanks to the impressive experience we had.

Great place to get away from the city life. and as other reviews have said before. 4WD is recommended. and the free roam goats that are out there are pure entertainment. Amazing hosts as well

We had a lot of rain the days we visited, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moonshine Ridge cabin. The cabin was clean, and the views were great.

The house was perfect for us. It was close to the hiking trails and the distilleries that we wanted to hit were an hour away but it was an easy drive. Felicia was a great host as well! Super responsive and gave great recommendations!

The host Aaron was extremely helpful and kind. This place is beautiful and exactly what we needed which was privacy with a private huge lake for my 8 yo son who loves to fish. We caught upwards of 75 fish on the shore, off the deck, and on the boat. House was cozy and clean. We would definitely go back to this house.

It’s a wonderful cabin to stay in with all the things you need! Greg and Lorie are super kind and were like visiting old friends from the moment we got to the cabin! Very helpful and kind!

Loved staying here! We wanted to be in a location that had access to a lot of hiking and we had plenty of options within a 30 minute drive. Fun, local food/coffee options in the area as well. The home was beautiful and clean with plenty of space for our family of 5. Everything was as described and Daniel was extremely quick to respond to any questions I had. If we are back in the Kentucky area, I would love to book here again! Only "downside" was making sure all dishes were clean and put away before leaving which made for a more stressful departure when you have young kids. We are used to needing to start a load at rentals but never making sure they are put away, so that was odd.

We loved our stay! It was a perfect quiet getaway and close enough to do some day hiking all over RRG. The deck out back was perfect for morning coffee and sitting out the thunderstorms that rolled through. Highly recommend this place. The host was quick to respond and very friendly. We will def be back if we plan a trip like that again! Also, the mushroom theme is so adorable and well executed. Thank you for the opportunity to stay are you place!

Enjoyed a night here for a peaceful stay with a friend. absolutely stunning location, beautiful amenities and cabin. Absolutely worth the drive and stay! We enthusiastically recommend this spot! The cabin is very comfortable and well laid out, including lots of places to hang or set stuff to help stay organized. It is decorated beautifully and the bed, linens and shower were all highlights. There was plenty of space for a couple and two dogs and we really enjoyed walking around the ridge we were on and hiking in the Daniel Boone forest area was just amazing. I love the mountains, but have a fear of heights, so getting up mountain roads sometimes freaks me out. I was a little worried based on a few other reviewers’ comments, but it was really not bad at all. The road is narrow, but it is paved all the way and there are guard rails in areas where there are drop offs. Our two wheel drive car had no issues at all. This is a quiet area, but near enough to major thoroughfares that you are not really isolated or far from groceries, etc. Mark was a pleasure to work with in setting up our stay and responded quickly to messages.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay at Steve’s cabin. It was just what we needed for our trip to the annual Mushroom festival. We will definitely be repeat guests!

We had an awesome experience booking with William. Cabin was immaculate and offered everything we were looking for. Very cozy, close to everything, and very private. If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away you can’t go wrong here.

This place is great. It's very private and peaceful. The patio is great to lounge and relax. To get there, you need to drive up some steep gravel roads. But a sedan can make it! It was just as described.

Great stay! The cabins were very clean and cozy! We were so close to the gorge! I was also surprised how comfortable and large the bed was! Will definitely be back when we visit RRG again!

Very cozy and perfect size for just a couple people. Having a full kitchen was nice as well. Easy location to find and your next to other little cabins as well as a main road so you feel safe

Great house, the huge and secure backyard was perfect for our dog to roam around. The outdoor shower was amazing after an afternoon of hiking in the heat. There are other houses around, but it was dark enough at night to see lots of stars. Everything inside was in good shape and very charming. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants 5 minutes away, overall a great spot for exploring red river gorge and natural bridge.

this place is beautiful. has everything you need for a wonderful cabin getaway with privacy! the host is also very nice! I stayed during the winter storm and she was willing to let me stay an extra day to avoid having to drive home in that mess. Will 1000% be back

This cabin was the cutest, and coziest little home away from home! Every detail was well thought out and had everything we needed! The bed was very comfortable, hot tub was awesome and there’s plenty to do if you don’t feel like leaving everyday to explore. Owners communicated very well leading up to the weekend and were very helpful! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Red Door cabins, #6 and Elijah was our Host. It was perfect for our plans. Very close to all the great things to do in the gorge and close enough to all the important bourbon stops in Lexington and Frankfort. Elijah was a fantastic host, very timely and very responsive. The cabin was neat, clean and comfortable and was just like the pictures. We highly recommend staying here for and of you gorge adventures

My family LOVES the big cabin. It’s in a quiet place, has lots of room for my large family to spread out and plenty of outdoor adventures. Kitchen is well stocked and big enough to cook for my family. ❤️
