Cute little rustic cottage. Amazing views of Mount Gulaga and surrounds. Very peaceful and private and very dog friendly. We met a very accomodating gentleman who assisted us. Great spot for a digital detox and to take in the beauty of the area. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next stay.

Narooma was beautiful and the cottage was surrounded by an amazing garden - very peaceful.

The best thing of this stay is Hughen’s hospitality, he welcomes you with a big smile. He is always responsive and being so friendly, same for the cute dog Eddie and the cat too. He also ride us to the other side of creek to see the little animals. Thank you so much for making our stay warm in this country. The view from bedroom and dining table was stunning especially with the sunrise. We also saw Kangaroos jumping in the field. In early morning. The milky way was amazing at night. The only pity we had was we did not see dolphins at meringo beach, which requires a bit of luck. The only watch out is there is no wifi in room and the internet we purchased also not working in this region. I am fine to be disconnected from the world but may not be convenient for ppl needs internet to work like my husband(he can still get wifi from the reception area).

Kylie and Peter are excellent hosts. If you want to know what it's like to be treated like you matter, then this is the place to go. No detail was missed, everything was there for a quality stay and in such a fantastic location. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the meeting Glenda and learning from her about the local botanical garden. We were glad to have two nights so that we could explore the larger area at a more leisurely pace. The unit itself was impeccable. Neat and clean with all the promised amenities. We slept well here.

Our group of 5 kids under 12 and 2 adults had a great time at this place. It is a beautiful spot to relax and the kids loved hanging with the sheep, chickens and geese or just roaming around. Short walk to Tilba village and lots of amazing beaches nearby. John was a great host and generously let the kids ‘help’ while he tended to his sheep.

Members of my family and I (8 adults) stayed at The Valley House in Central Tilba over the Australia Day long weekend. As the name implies, the house sits about halfway down the valley right behind the beautiful and historic town of Central Tilba. Viewed from the deck veranda of the house, the valley is alive with an array of animals and provided us with a wonderfully picturesque backdrop during our stay. The house itself more than comfortably accommodated the 8 of us and provided all the amenities and more for a memorable stay over the three days – the pantry and cupboards were fully stocked with everything we needed and there was a very thoughtful (and surprising) welcome pack supplied by John, our host. The house was just a short walk from the Central Tilba township, and what a breath of fresh air the quaint town is, with a number overy interesting shops and establishments, and even more interesting local characters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Valley House.

We had a very good 3 night stay. The accommodation was well set up and exceptionally clean with generous supplies. Comfortable king sized bed with nice linen and blackout blinds ( apart from little triangular window at very top ) Sue met us upon arrival to show us the unit then completely respected our privacy.

Our family had a most beautiful stay and it was so peaceful. We particularly loved sitting on the front verandah, sipping tea, playing games and just watching the cows and sheep - they made our day. Ingrid, you and Grant were fantastic hosts and we thank you for making our few days a time to remember. There are so many beautiful walks to do and we hope to return again one day.

Everything as expected, nice place, good value, exactly what we wanted for our trip away down the south coast. Awesome comms from the moment we booked till we checked out Julie was on the ball and always super responsive. Will be happy to stay again next time we head to the area.

River Cottage is magnificent, a very special place, Tristan was a lovely host, very responsive, the TV series was great, it's even better in real life!!
