House by the sea and The Seal Woman

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

The house is a unique old fisherman's home from 1875, which has been owned by the family since 1929. Upgraded to today's amenities, without ruining the old nostalgia. The house is located in the center of the nostalgic village of Gjógv. The house is located by the sea with a view of the fjord. On the other side of the fjord is Kalsoy, where the last James Bond film ended. The 150-year-old Pershús has recently been renovated. It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. Good opportunities to dip in the gorge natural harbor Gjógvin. (NEVER DIP ALONE). Or just enjoy life with the fantastic view from the hot tub.

Stykkjastova - view and positioning

Big and spacious house with a wonderful view. Very central in Stykkid, 20 minutes in car from Torshavn or the airport, 10 minutes from Vestmanna and 5 minutes walk to popular Leynasand beach. The house is in two sections with own kitchens, bathrooms, living areas etc. Playground in the garden for children with trampolin and swings, and the adults with hotpot, sauna and grillcabin. Space for 4 cars. Fast wifi. Access through stairs or ramp.

Í Fjósinum Glæd dig til at bo i et af Færøernes ældste huse. I dette hus kan du nyde den helt særlige stemning, af hjemlig og hyggelig atmosfære. Her er skæve vinkler, lavt til loftet, og en noget stejl trappe op til loftet, men dog god at gå på, hvor 2 soveværelser og badeværelse er. I stueetagen er der gangen, stuen og køkkenet, som er nænsomt renoveret, for to år siden. Der er udsigt til søen og de høje fjelde fra vinduerne.

Spacious new boathouse apartment located at the bay in a small village called Hvalvík on Streymoy. Less than an hour drive to the airport, half an hour drive to the capital and all the other islands. The apartment is 75 square meters, new in modern cozy style with a stunning view over the ocean. Only 3 minutes walk to bus stop and a great pizzeria/fastfood, and max 5 minutes drive to grocery stores, liquorstore and petrol station.

Large, peaceful apartment in the middle of the Faroe Islands. Geographically central. The longest distance by car is approximately 1 hour's drive. 6 of the islands are connected by tunnels and bridges. It is about 15 min to Tórshavn through the new underwater tunnel. Quiet village by the sea. Nice view from the livingroom. You will love my home because of the peace, the view and the surroundings.

Great location on the beach. Located in a peaceful area with stone beach and private dock. On the beach, children can play and catch crabs. Old boathouse from the first in the 20th century, which has been converted into an apartment. Completly rebuilt in 2020. Boat is still in the basement (Neyst)
