Nice, warm, quiet, comfy place! Had our spring break here and really enjoyed. Best time of my life for sure. We can see aurora right from the cabin! And there is a hill very nearby where we can have great views. Need a car for sure. Went to the Alaska’s Trail king for dog sleigh, only 15 min drive from here. Santa’s house abt 30 min drive. Went to the Castner glacier, abt 2 hrs drive. Went to the Museum of the North, abt 50 min drive. This is a good location overall if you are going to most of visitor spots(except the Denali national park, needs more time). And the lake right next to the cabin is beautiful. Only thing is you might need an eye-mask for sleeping during summer since the roof of cabin has window without curtain, and if you want to cook just get the basic humble ingredients like pasta. Highly recommend! Come to wash away anything that burdens you!!!

We enjoyed our first trip to Alaska and the house was a big part of it. It was very clean and comfortable which helped out on the long winter nights. Also, very convenient to town for those quick trips to get something. Thanks An!!

Loved the net to relax in! Hot tubs were great to relax in.

We had an amazing time at Conrad's Alaska lakehouse. Might have been our best family vacation ever. There is a frozen lake out back (frozen in March at least) and we had fun cross country skiing out there and found an ice hockey rink on the lake to play on. Perfect place for Aurora viewing and we saw it for the first time! We also went dog-sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross country skied to an ice cave.

We had a fabulous time in the very peacefulness and serene location. John was very responsive.

I wish I could give 6 stars. I have traveled to many places but this was my all time favorite. There’s such a unique and special feel to this cozy little cabin. The cabin was clean, and had everything we could’ve needed. It was warm, inviting and luxurious at the same time. 10/10 I would recommend to all others. We would stay here again! Julie's place was decorated for spring! It was very comfortable - the beds and pillows were all very comfortable. The bathroom counter was spacious - there was room for all our cosmetics! Our son loved the loft area upstairs - he used it as a hangout but slept downstairs. The fridge is large and there was bottled water for us. Also, the location is great!

Fantastic cabin by the river in the woods! Cozy place to call home while exploring everything Fairbanks has to offer. Well located to visit North Pole, Cleary summit, Chena hot springs and Denali as well. Would definitely consider booking again in future.

We had a lovely stay! Ruth has clearly put a lot of time and effort into curating a peaceful, family-friendly space. We were traveling with our 3 and 6 year olds and, not only were there games, puzzles, and sleds for them to enjoy, the home itself was also kid-friendly in terms of set up and decor. The location is close enough to get to a bunch of great places, the recommendations book was spot on, and we got an absolutely breathtaking view of the aurora borealis on our last night. Ruth was also easy to reach, quick to respond, and flexible in working with us on schedule changes. Highly recommend!
