Our cottage is set in the corner of a 100 acre mostly wooded tract in rural Floyd County. The site is open, but surrounded by mature trees. You will enjoy the quiet private setting. Our cottage is good for couples and small families. The Town of Floyd, six miles away, hosts restaurants, a coffee shop, and gift shops. The Floyd Country Store hosts the renowned Friday Night Jamboree featuring local bluegrass, while other restaurants host a variety of music on weekends and during the week.

Full size bed, porch with rockers, outhouse, fire circle, and riverside with hammock, yoga/meditation pavilion, labyrinth, kayaks, swimming and more. Hotplate, coffee pot, mini fridge, water dispensers, fan and space heater provided! Shower and hot tub at the main house and summertime river kitchen/showers available - no running water in the cabin!

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!

This cabin offers 1 queen bed, 1 set of bunks, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. The kitchen has all basic appliances except an oven and we supply minimal pots and pans and dishes for your convenience. There is a covered porch on the front. This is a pet free cabin.
