The house was just as described and very clean. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend visiting the wineries on the Parkway, and greatly enjoyed the back porch.

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb in the mountains. I’m normally at the beach. I have never had a host go so far above and beyond what they have to do to make sure their guests are taken care of. This was one of the most relaxing places I have ever been. I literally heard two cars on the road during my whole stay. I have already added this to my favorites list. I was up there working so I will be going back when I’m not working and it’s the type of place where you stop and get your groceries on the way in and you never have to leave. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in my life! He provides bath salts for the hot tub, and then the sauna has all types of scents that you can put in your water. All the water in the lodge is springwater that comes directly from the mountain behind and I got to come home with my skin feeling so soft! If you want peace and quiet, David’s Redwood Lodge has it all! Excellent host with an excellent property!

Tucked away in a secluded area, the house offered the perfect amount of privacy, making it a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully designed, with just enough space for both me and my dog to feel comfortable. The quiet surroundings were perfect for long walks with my dog, and there was a lovely outdoor area where we could relax and enjoy the nature around us. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making the space welcoming — everything was clean, well-stocked, and had a homey vibe. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a quiet getaway with a furry companion. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, private escape.

This place was perfect for a one night stay. It was exactly as advertised and Marilyn was prompt with her communication even when we arrived close to 10:00 pm. Oatmeal was provided (which is like, all I eat for breakfast) and both my girlfriend and I noted the cleanliness. It was simple and convenient to check in and out and the mountain view was great for an early morning meditation before departing. Definitely would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

It’s really hard to put into words the experience we had during our stay, but we’re going to give it a shot… Because Jennifer & Greg absolutely deserve it. If you’re looking for something different, this place is 100% worth it. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy quality time with friends while also finding moments to clear your mind and let your thoughts wander. Whether you’re into outdoor activities and want to explore the surroundings, or you’re more of an introvert who’d rather just soak in the artistic details and unique atmosphere of the house, there’s something for everyone. The first thing my friends and I said when we arrived was, “We have to come back.” And we truly hope we can make that happen soon.

Peaceful, cozy, restorative spot for my family’s spring break. We loved hiking on the property, relaxing in our hammock amid the trees, and enjoying the vibrant life in Floyd.

My fiancé and I stayed at Jennifer’s home while visiting my brother who attends Virginia Tech. The most peaceful stay! We felt right at home, with cozy amenities and lovely decor that added a personal touch. The tranquility of the farm, combined with beautiful views and the sounds of nature in the morning, created a serene atmosphere. Super easy check-in and it had absolutely everything we needed! I had a quick question when we checked in and Jennifer responded immediately. Highly recommend! Thank you!
