Great hosts and great accommodation.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

The apartment is very spacious and not far from supermarkets and the train station to Stavanger central. Obviously the view is amazing.

Wir haben leider eine regnerische Woche in Norwegen erwischt. Wir waren trotzdem wandern, golfen und angeln, aber waren auch viele Stunden in der Unterkunft und haben die Brandung aus dem Wohnzimmer durch die wunderschöne Fensterfront genossen. Das kann man wirklich nicht beschreiben.

Schöne Lage, direkt am Wasser und sehr ruhig, einfache Hütte, jedoch sehr sauber, ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden.

We had a wonderful stay at Espen's place in Stavanger. The place was spotless and has fantastic views. The building is modern and well taken care of. Espen was a great host and responsive to questions. I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastisk sted. Idyllisk, vakkert fjordlandskap nær Preikestolen. Mulighet for bading og lån av SUP-brett/båt rett utenfor. Anbefales!

Das Haus war für uns vier großzügig. Die Kinder freuten sich über „ihr eigenes Zimmer“. Die Ausstattung war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Kommunikation mit Siri war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in Allem sind wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus. Dank für diese schöne Woche.

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Vi brukte plassen for en kort kjærestetur med mannen og hadde en overnatting der. Enkel standard i nydelige omgivelser, vi manglet ingenting. Lyden av sjø, bølgeskvulp - var magiske opplevelser. Vi har kjøpt med oss sushi og alt av snacks vi trengte, så det var ikke behov til å kjøre ut noen steder. Da brukte vi ettermiddagen til å spasere til den nydelige Sandvesand. Vi var heldige med være og fikk med oss helt magisk solnedgang, men jeg regner med at dt er minst like flott der når det blåser og naturn viser sine krefter. Vi skal definitivt tilbake sammen med flee venner, det er nemlig flere små hytter som står vegg i vegg som kan leies. Om det bålpanne på plassen - kunne vi sitte ute enda lenger.

Très bel appartement, avec tous les équipements nécessaires, dans un quartier résidentiel paisible mais proche de la ville. Le logement se trouve en sous-sol de la maison des propriétaires mais dispose de la luminosité nécessaire dans toutes les pièces grâce à de belles fenêtres. Les hôtes sont réactifs, arrangeants et très gentils. Ils nous ont indiqué de beaux lieux à visiter. Une très bonne expérience pour cette 1e nuit en Norvège !

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Man findet dort die Zeit zum abschalten. Ein tolles Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ohne Leihwagen wäre es schwierig gewesen, von dort hin und her zu kommen. Wir hatten eine tolles Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Magnifique hangar à bateaux, le lieux est magnifique et clame , la maison superbe avec tous ce dont vous pouvez avoir besoin, rien ne manque. Endroit majestueux sous le soleil comme sous la pluie. Jostein est présent si vous avez besoins de lui et très discret si vous êtes autonome, un hôte parfait.

Rosemary operates Airbnb for selfless, loving reasons, not money. It's like volunteering. She was considerate of us throughout our stay, and let even stay more for us after hikes. She was so thoughtful that she said vacationers didn't need to do the dishes because she didn't want to make people use energy while doing dishes. The room was comfortable, and the plates were especially adorable. There aren't many condiments, but she would gladly lend you what you needed. The bathroom is lovely. It's not in the same building, but It doesn't bother you at all because it's close. The house and garden are lovely. Frankly, it was my dream home. I'm sad I couldn't swim in the lake with cute dog, Daisy. If you have a seat, make a reservation. you're the lucky one.
