The room is kids friendly. About 450 sqft, the room is an infusion of Japanese style with modern facilities for a comfy stay. We designed the room with love and care for little kids, because we have a little girl too. The room is safe and friendly for little kids. No sharp or pointy spot in the room. Low furniture, but all the plug-ins are highly positioned. And of course, we will try to accommodate any special requests. With all being said above, if you are looking for a spacious place with good shower & A/C in quiet and convenient neighborhood, come stay with us ! *** The room is on the second/third floor, no elevator! ***Laundries can be done at a starting charge of ¥2500 per load( washer & dryer). ***An extra set of futon will be done at a charge of ¥2000 Yen per request.( i.e. 3 pax wants 4 sets, the fourth set will be charged ¥2000 yen) *** The TV in the room is only for YouTube or streaming services if you have an account! This is one of our 11 apartment-type accommodations. It is about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk from Kintetsu Toji Station. The city bus stop called Kujo Omiya is also a very short walk away. The Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium are also nearby. They opened in April 2016 at Umekouji Park, which is only about a 7-minute walk. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the World Heritage Site, Toji Temple’s Five-Story Pagoda (“Goju no to”).
