On a country lane, that provides quick access to Blackpool with its night life, attractions and illuminations in September, and only 50 mins to the Lake District. If you want the sea, its not far at all, with large beaches at Blackpool and the lovely upgraded front at Cleveleys is only a short drive away.

Vine cottage is a charming two bedroom period cottage located in a secluded backwater just a few minutes walk to the centre of the popular village of great eccleston . The cottage is over 160 years old with original exposed pine woodwork and floorboards with two real open fires for a home from home feel . The cottage sleeps four with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom . The cottage has a small attractive private courtyard and off road parking . We take short or long breaks .

With one double bedroom, bathroom and comfortable lounge (with fold-out futon), it’s ideal for a relaxing countryside break. Situated beside our small stable yard, with horses often grazing nearby, it offers authentic countryside charm while remaining calm and private. Close to the coast and River Wyre. Private parking next to the bungalow, and a car is essential.

Wake up to the sounds of the birds singing! A lovely 3 bedroom barn conversion set in 12 acres of fields, ponds and some wooded areas which you are welcome to explore. The barn has a large open plan kitchen/diner/living space and also a huge second living room. Super fast Wifi (400mb+) throughout and two large TVs in the living areas Blackpool/Preston/Lancaster are all around 20 minutes away and you can be in the Lake District in an hour.
