A gorgeous location on a nature reserve with amazing sunrises and sunsets and the occasional spotting of game like Baboons and Zebra. Spacious accommodation with plenty of room to relax inside or out. Though rather spartan, it provides ample space and a great stove/oven for self-catering. Very quiet and relaxing and a great place for contemplation. Would be excellent for a family or group. I felt quite safe and relaxed. I would definitely come again.

Truly a lovely and peaceful cottage! It's got everything you need + a nice yard. I like how the place is close to the mall, the dam, restaurants, and Aerial Cableway. Pieter is a wonderful host and there when you need him; very nice and wants to share all he knows about the area. Will definitely book again soon. We had a lovely stay!

Comfortable and private space was exactly what we were after. Location was perfect for our family visit and Josephine ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely stay again and Jo’s Eden has become a home away from home for us.

The unit was excellent. Lots of space. Safe, clean and has everything you need. Close to a variety of food options. The host and cleaning staff were super helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our weekend. It was so relaxing to chill in the hammock and watch all the birds and squirrels. Place was well equipped with no less than 3 places to braai. Great location in the quieter part of the reserve but still close enough to the shops and restaurants. Was a bit cold for us to use the pool but we'll be back!

Glen and Paul are friendly, present, low key and responsive. Their cottage is peaceful, secure and restful. I loved the homey feel and the obvious attention to detail - there are little luxuries like amazing water pressure in the shower, a fan in the bedroom for hot mozzie nights, a coffee machine, and quality decor. I appreciated their generous & thoughtful kitchen supplies (which made self catering a breeze for a busy professional on a work trip). The location is also convenient - situated in a central, grand part of old Johannesburg. Thank you - I'll be back.

Most friendly, kind hearted and caring hosts we stayed with in the longest of times! From the welcoming (best rusks ever) the treats, to the check-out..just amazing! The unit was situated close to everything, very tranquil, peaceful and fully equipped with everything that was needed! we will honestly stay here every time we're in the area! Just Wonderful!

Een geweldig verblijf vlakbij Pretoria en Johannesburg, ideaal als je voor je terugvlucht nog iets leuks wil doen. Gareth, Klaudia en Elliott hebben ons verblijf tot een fantastische tijd in dit relatief kleine maar leuke big 5 game reservaat. Ze zijn flexibel en hulpvaardig. Het huis is geweldig gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een enorme aanrader!

Just my favorite airbnb in all of South Africa - and that's all thanks to Petro being an amazing host! The cottage is spotless and homey - has everything you could ever need for a stay. It's quiet and private but Petro is always available and just next door if you need anything. Third time staying here and won't be my last - so glad to have found a home away from home in Johannesburg!
