Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Gilford

This was our 2nd stay at the Red Cabin. We and our dog enjoyed our stay and love the peace, quiet, sunsets, and loons of Chalk Pond and the Selt trails nearby. We tried some new restaurants and recommend Ellacoya and The Breeze for dinner and Ames Farm Inn for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here. Both hosts are great!

Second time staying at her place!! We love it, felt like home!

We booked Steve’s place for a weekend getaway with the dogs. The house was very dog friendly, complete with doggie bowls and blankets to put on the furniture. The hot tub location was perfect, great view of the pond and felt really private. Well-equipped kitchen for a weekend getaway. There is a cast iron pan was great for cooking up the duck breasts I brought! Small general store in walking distance but definitely bring everything you think you will need food wise. There was a listing of local places which was helpful also. Will probably return later in the year to take advantage of the kayaks!

Our stay was awesome. Being right on the water was great for fishing and playing fetch with the dog. The house was perfect and the views were great.

This is an incredibly comfortable and remarkably well equipped lakefront house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and tools to keep the cooks happy, and all of the water gear anyone could ask for. We especially appreciated the large porch overlooking the lake. Close to the busy road (as was described in the listing), but blocked off and made visually private by fencing. Owners incredible, responding almost instantly, warmly, and generously.

Wow, what a perfect house. Our favorite ABNB yet!! Some hi lights enjoyed by all 6 guests include comfy beds, room darkening shades, 3 full baths, coffee/drink area separate from kitchen. It was our 1st time to lake Ossipee, but it will not be our last! We swam, kayaked, fished etc. the lake was so clear and clean and warm. The scenery was spectacular. Robert was a great host and we would absolutely rent again.

Karen’s home is perfect and so comfortable for a family getaway. We had the most peaceful time in the most beautiful home and setting. Karen is a wonderful host. Thank you for sharing your amazing home.

Nice and cozy cabin! Super responsive host with great touches to the cabin. Didn't get to enjoy the hot tub because it took too much time to get it fully heated and unfortunately weren't at the cabin for several hours leading up to when we wanted to use it but if you have the time to tend to it, I'm sure it's lovely. Fully stocked kitchen which was great for cooking a group meal.

My husband grew up going to South Down and his family is still there. It's great to have a place of our own when we visit. The condo is very nice, check-in was super easy (just a code!), and there was a binder with everything we needed. We didn't have any issues while we were there, but our host was still very responsive to our updates.

We had a great time! lovely place with all the amenities ! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Perfect bunk beds for the kids!

Michael really is a super host. His condo is comforatble, clean, and is exactly as shown in the pictures/advertised. The association has friendly residents and many amentities (pool, lake, kayaking, tennis, and more). The condo is within driving distance to Weirs Beach, the Pavillion, restaurants, hiking, and shopping. Michael is quick to respond to any messages or questions you have for him and truly wants his guests to have a relaxing time. He is extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. We have stayed at his place in the past and plan to stay at his place again. I truly couldn't ask for a better experience with using airbnb and it is because of Michael's hospitality. My stay was a 10/10.

This was a great stay for the family. Everything is close or just a quick ride away. The only thing we wish there was a bigger field area so our boys can play catch. Other than that the place was great vacation for our family we had a blast!!! Thanks

Chasity’s place was amazing! She was very detail oriented when it came to describing the place and helping us figure out snow plows and everything. The place is beautiful and cozy. I would love to experience this within the summer. I will be recommending this house to everyone.

My family stayed here for a ski trip. It was beautifully located overlooking a large lake with mountains in the distance - I loved waking up to that! The place was clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated the games shelf. 10 minute drive from Gunstock Mountain. Great nearby restaurants.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The sunrises were gorgeous, cooking on the grill, kayaking/paddle boarding, cozy fires, and everything we could have needed! We made such great memories and appreciated you and Matt’s hospitality so much. The cabin was great and so were you guys. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect stay for a group of friends for a few nights in the early summer. Weather permitting, the lake and dock were great to hangout on, and on colder days the fire pits provided a cozy atmosphere. There are tons of amenities which made cooking large meals easy and provided activities for all to enjoy. The hot tub was a wonderful surprise as well. Squam lake itself is very clear and great for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. On the few occasions we left the lake, the country store down the road had everything we needed too. Don was very communicative with us and was a great host. I’d definitely recommend staying here for a family or small group of friends. I’d love to come back!

Warren and Jen are fabulous hosts that have repeatedly treated our family like friends. They are quick to respond, and even better, are one step ahead. They have created an idyllic getaway property that everyone in our family finds unmatched. It is just perfect. Warren and Jen have a real gem with their property, and working with them is a warm experience. We can't wait to come back.

We were two couples and enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It is well organized and located in a beautiful setup on the lake. A relatively short 30 minutes drive allowed us easy access to the white Mountains attractions. Vanessa was proactive on closing the open space above the bedroom doors just before we came - so this issue as reported in some other reviews has gone away… in short - highly recommended!

The house is awesome: lake view, lake direct access, large kitchens, someone plowed the driveway after the snow storms. We had a great stay, did ice skating on the lake, kings pine ski center is family friendly.

We had a wonderful time. The house was just right for 6 adults and a baby. There was great lake access with several kayaks to use and a canoe. The kitchen had everything we needed. Wendy was easy to reach and responded to our questions quickly.

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. James was responsive and checked in and out was super easy. The house was super clean and has everything needed. Waterfront with access to kayaks. Great for fishing and boating, lovely nature surroundings. Very peaceful. Quiet neighborhood and private. Close to Laconia and about an hour to Conway. Great stay. Would definitely recommend. We plan to go back!!
