The lodge is self-contained & sits on a stunning lifestyle block surrounded by avocados & kiwifruit. The interior is stylish, unique & oozes atmosphere. Falls Cottage Retreat

Sit back and enjoy sensational views of the Wairere Falls from various spots in our farm cottage which is situated in the heart of the Kaimai Ranges. The well renowned Wairere Falls walking track is only 3km from the cottage for those keen to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature walk. Opal Hot Springs is a 5-minute drive and the best way to relax and unwind. Matamata is a 12-minute drive with excellent food options and various tour bus options out to the Hobbiton movie set.

Peaceful cabin in a rural setting.

This bright, airy and peaceful cabin is a converted section of a dutch barn set in a lovely little garden surrounded by willow trees. There are great walks from the doorstep; around the estuary, which is just over the road, and beyond via the Omokoroa Cycleway. Further up the driveway you'll find the paddock with our two alpacas and a bubbling brook running through it. The cabin includes a kitchen with small oven, single induction hob and microwave. Fast wifi is included.

Tahi Totara

Our studio conversion offers contemporary open plan lodgings. An equipped kitchen unit, dining setting, lounge area including bedroom with king size bed that also splits into two singles if required. The bathroom offers double shower. A second separate bedroom offers two king single beds a second bathroom plus laundry. A continental breakfast is provided. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from CBD and a short car drive to scenic points of interest in the district .

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!

Country cabin escape perfect star gazing + biking!

Escape to the country at our self-contained cabin with lovely mountain & country views at the base of the Kaimai Ranges. Close to Wairere Falls (7 min drive), Hobbiton Tour from Matamata (28 min drive) & 3 mins ride to cycle trail! Central to Rotorua, Waitomo, Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland. Private, self-contained, cosy modern cottage on semi-rural orchard location adjacent to Katikati township. Panoramic views with small deck, BBQ & swimming pool available. Very comfortable queen sized bed & portacot on request. Sofa bed available for extra guests. Ample parking for motorhome or caravan. Breakfast food provided for the first morning of stay. Pets not allowed.
