Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

This clean, modern, Scandinavian-feeling cabin, sleeps up to 5; 1 Queen, 1 pull out couch, 1 twin bed. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer for your clothes after a day of hiking or skiing.
