Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

Once home, enjoy the amenities which includes a full chef’s kitchen, washer/dryer and gas fireplace in the common living area. The room with the king bed is a Cal king Purple mattress. Just outside your door awaits the pool and spa. You will have a secure two car garage to park vehicles. Take in the serenity and peace of this exclusive property!

A small table with chairs offers a quiet spot to enjoy a meal. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (fresh-ground coffee, cream, & sugar) are in-suite. And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.

Welcome to our Little Red Barn in rural Loomis. We love this area because we are surrounded by hundreds of destinations worth exploring. Whether you're interested in CA history, white water rafting, lazy lake days, skiing in Tahoe, farm to fork, or fine dining, then our Little Red Barn is a perfect jumping off location. Our barn features a completely remodeled guest suite located on the second floor. The suite has a private entrance and deck overlooking our but growing mini farm.

Come stay at our brand new custom home in El Dorado Hills - just completed in 2024! We are walking distance from Folsom Lake and less than an hour and a half from skiing in South Lake Tahoe. You'll love the upscale features throughout the house - we spared no expense. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the views from the house are incredible. We are fully permitted with El Dorado County (#082189) for a max nightly occupancy of 6 adults (children 6 and over).
