We loved our stay at Lakeside escape. The house was very well provisioned, with an easter welcome basket, plenty of condiments and enough dinner plates, cookware and cutlery for all. Lovely decorative touches throughout, plenty of seating for our family group with 2 dining tables, a large comfy couch in the living room. We made good use of the large out door chairs around the fire pit as well. Plenty of board games, the dart board on the deck and lots of water based things such as kayaks etc meant there was something for everyone. the children loved feeding the ducks who visited regularly. The best aspect of the house though is that it sits on the bank of the lake so we could sit and watch all the family water sports right in front of us. Thanks so much.

We loved our stay with 6 of us plus the dog. Could fit several more people. Great entertaining house with plenty of space. Actually bigger and better than the photos show. Water access was great. 6 knot zone for the first 400m then you can ski. The place had everything you need for a getaway. We would stay again. Shout out to Cassi for making late changes to our booking.

This tiny home is exactly what you need if you want to get away, be involved in the tiny home experience, have a little camp fire with a red wine and cold beer! Maybe even turn off socials for a day or two. It is so cosy and easy to find with directions. Situation in the perfect distance from the now busy little surf town with hidden treasures right at your nose. The beautiful collie will say hello and he is such a good boy, the sound of birds and wind blowing through the bush is soothing! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Also shower pressure is to die for!

Wonderful stay. Our second stay at this lovely house. Great location 5mins from local shops and restaurants, 5mins from the main beach in town. House is always clean and tidy with everything we needed, we enjoyed our stay.

Our two families had a wonderful stay at The Lake House. The pontoon entertained our young sons ALL weekend! They loved it. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the great view. The house was perfect for two families with two bathrooms. Great kitchen facilities overlooking the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for an unforgettable stay, Jillian! Seascapes was such a peaceful place to be and my partner and I felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. I really appreciated all the little touches of home that you have made throughout the house. I had the best sleep of my life with the fresh air and soothing sounds of the rainforest, and it was just lovely to feel so isolated yet a short drive from some great attractions in the Daintree. Also, I need to buy myself a hammock now! I could have stayed in that hammock on the verandah with the ocean view for days on end haha. Thank you again for providing a welcome escape to nature.

One of the most stunning properties we have stayed in. Every space was used and the house was chic and stylish. Amazing views, and the kitchen was next level. The only problem was we had one night only . I can definitely appreciate why this property is fully booked out in advance. So happy to have stayed for one night. Thank you to our wonderful host.

Such a beautiful, peaceful house with all the necessary amenities. Loved hearing the birdsong in the mornings, watching the storks and other birds on the lake, and reading on the quiet deck in the afternoons. Lovely responsive host. Definitely would recommend with 5 stars!

Great location! Very peaceful and close to the village. And we really enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake.
