Our stay on Bulago island at Tom's house was just great. From the house, beautifully situated above the water on the far west tip of the island, you have an amazing view over the lake, which gets even better with every step you climb up behind the house up to the hill, which is the highest point of the island. The house is fully equipped with all you need and Tom is an awesome host! We'll soon be back.

Gorgeous house right on the beach. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The sound of the wave is always with you. The helpers and chef are very helpful and kind. Michelle is very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend.

Thank you for having us stay at your home during our short but sweet work trip to Kilifi. It's a shame we didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted, but the little time we spent there was well worth it. On our first day there, we enjoyed the most glorious sunset on the rooftop. The house is gorgeous and beautifully designed, and the best part was the huge, comfortable beds and the incredible shower. The pool was great for my team and I; it helped us out a lot with our early mornings and late-night work. The drive to the house from the main road can be quite long and tiresome because it's a rough road, and while the home isn't far, you have to drive slowly. This, of course, wouldn't have been an issue if we were on vacation. All in all, Fig House is exactly what we needed for a film crew of 6 who require a good rest and privacy after a long day in the field. I would definitely love to come back to stay here with family, especially on holiday. Asante sana!

Wow Wow Wow, what an amazing place. If you are looking for absolute peace and tranquility then Shanti House in Lamu is the place to go. Amazing setting right on the beach with breathtaking sunset, great beach walks, etc. The staff where great and Steven the house assistant was there to help with anything when needed. Although there is great restaurants around, no need to go out and look for restaurants as the chef Katana was amazing and his food was spectacular. I highly recommend Shanti House for anyone looking for an amazing beach holiday experience.

I had a great stay at Tiffany's place. The location is convenient and easy to find. I felt right at home the moment I got in and my stay was pleasant.

La villa está en plena renovación, un lavado de cara importante para una casa antigua, pero bien situada, protegida y acogedora. Por la noche podrás disfrutar de conversaciones mágicas alrededor del fuego y compartir momentos con los anfitriones. Ha sido estupendo! Wij vonden het top! Elke middag lekker een stuk wandelen langs het strand om te gaan lunchen. Maar eigenlijk is er maar 1 echt goede lunch mogelijkheid en dat is bij Emayani beach lodge. Bij Mike hebben we het niet geprobeerd, omdat de dagen op waren. Het is elke avond om half 7/7 donker, dus in de avond thuis genieten van het eten van de kok is top! De prawns vonden we zo goed!! Chicken kunnen ze ook regelen. Wij waren er 4 nachten en 3 volle dagen en vonden dit een prima tijdsbestek. Niet langer, maar ook niet korter. Dankjewel!!!

Wow! I have been to air bnbs all over the world from Californ-ee-ay to the Indian Ocean coast of Australia - and my reviews tell you there have been some stunning places but this takes the prize. The location overlooking the Nile and the beautiful peaceful gardens are what hit you first. We were passing through with limited time - but we packed in one highlight after another. Swimming in the inlet and swim- shooting a miniature rapid. Crossing the river on a motor canoe and a drink while we suss out the adrenalin activities. Chatting with the boat guy and the adrenalin man (Peter) If you love intelligent chat and banter - these are your guys. if you don't know Uganda, these are the friendliest most chilled people you will find anywhere. Children from muzungu-land would have the time of their lives. I am coming back d.v. with a gang. Klint, Vicky, daughter Olivia and manager Lisa are all lovely. This has been a peak experience and a wonderful introduction to Uganda.

We had a great time at the lodge. The team was very friendly and the location is amazing. We would definitely come back. There is also a very small shop in the village 5 minutes away by foot, where you can get some groceries, which was nice and run by very friendly people. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area, sitting on the terrace and the beautiful river nile.

Amazing spot. Picnic by the river, Quiet, kitchen well stocked. I really needed this staycation. Thank you!!
