The lodge is incredible. Set next to the Bwindi impentratable rainforest, ensured you get spectacular views and amazing sunsets. The lodge is in quite a rural location and is definitely a peaceful place to stay. The camp fire at night and the beautiful surrounding make it a wonderful place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it as a unique place to stay.

A really nice guesthouse in a convenient location for restaurants and the Link Bus. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great grassed courtyard and tasty breakfast. Overall very pleased and would return.

The lodge is right on the lake with greenery surrounding and some tortoises and rabbits running around. The pictures don’t do this place justice. You just have to be there. The place has an antique vibe. You wake up to the beautiful view of the lake and sounds of the birds. You can kayak, swim, feed fish or rent out a boat out into the lake either sundowner or during the day or they organise for you to see other lakes (Green crater lake). The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They give local recommendations, especially as I was travelling alone they made sure I was safe especially in moving around. I want to extend my utmost gratitude to the team. I felt right at home. Thank you so much!! Highly highly recommend. Book it don’t even think about it, it’s one of the best spots on the lake.

This is a lovely and peaceful place on the beautiful beach of Matemwe. Jamal and the staff were all very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel has a generator which is indispensable because there are daily power outages in Zanzibar. The A/C in the room was great also. The only difficulty I had was with the WiFi which worked only at the restaurant. I would love to return again!

District Relatives offers beautiful and peaceful surroundings, making it a truly unique place to stay. The beach is easily accessible, and there are plenty of activities available, many of which are recommended by the helpful staff. The food is delicious, though on the pricier side. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice and relaxed place. Great fir families and retreat. Staff very nice and option to ride a bicycle through savannah is once in a life time. All recommendation!

An unexpected gem tucked away in Muhoroni. I loved the landscaping. The lush green gardens added to the zen atmosphere. Staff was super welcoming and responsive. Food was good. I especially enjoyed the fruit. The room was clean and comfortable. Certainly found my go to spot when in Muhoroni.

The place was amazing, we got plenty of rest as it was very peaceful. The rooms were beautiful with a lot of space, they were also constantly clean.We were a group of 12 and fit in perfectly. Maurice and the staff were also very friendly.

Anita's hotel is really nice. The place is very beautiful and has breathtaking views. You will get breakfast and dinner, which is simple but good. Lunch is offered with the Safari. The room is beautiful with simple design touches. The sheets are very comfortable, but the mattress is really firm. This is a hotel you stay in if you want to do a safari, as it is far from Arusha but close to the crater, Lake Manyara etc... The safari is absolutely incredible. The crater safari is really expensive but worth it. The great thing about staying in here is that his hotel is designed to help the local community. A quick note on getting there is a 15-20 min ride on a dirt road in order to get to the hotel, and in case you plan on driving there you need a. 4x4.

Loved how serene the area was. Pretty cold carry warm clothes . Bugs in the room mostly because the area is slightly forested otherwise loved my stay .The meals were great and the hospitality was equally amazing.

if you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bussel of Arusha, want it to feel like you're not in the middle of town with beautiful scenery and nature around you, but still be close to the city centre - this is the place for you. the pool, accomodation, food and staff were all great and made my stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. For those worried about the road after reading the reviews, don't worry, you don't need a 4x4 - arusha suburbs off the main roads are usually dirt roads and can be wild for people who have not lived in a city like Arusha - I promise you it won't stop your transport from getting to or from this place. Further the staff here would never leave you stranded. You can ask them for anything, including arranging transport, and they are happy to help.
