We stayed one night at Savanna Guest Farm on our way south, and it was definitely a welcome stop. Erich and his staff are friendly hosts. The unit was as described. We opted for the dinner and breakfast (additional cost), and both were excellent. The farm is in a beautiful corner of Namibia and it was a unique experience. We highly recommend Savanna Guest Farm to travellers as a way to break up the long distances.

This stay was a 10/10! Everything was above standard. The rooms were super clean, beds comfy & the entire room was so well thought out & stocked. All essentials were covered. Not to mention the FOOD - one of the most delicious home cooked meals I’ve ever had. Definately suggest booking dinner or breakfast. In future, this will definately be my go to stop over on road trips.

Lovely place to spend the night, comfortable and felt right at home. Beautiful surroundings, and great atmosphere, ‘gesellig’. My kids loved the swimming pool - it was the perfect refreshment after a long day on the road.

We had a puncture when we were 30km away from the venue and we didn’t have roaming cellphones. As such we couldn’t tell Johan that we were stuck but on arrival at about 23:00 we couldn’t wait even 2 minutes at the gate before they opened for us. In the morning, Johan and his boys tried their best to get us a tyre around but unfortunately the nearest place was Windhoek which was far from Karansburg. Johan is a good man - thanks for your hospitality Johan!

Namgate Guesthouse is very nice! We had a problem with our car and we could luckily call Wilmari and they came to help us. Thank you for that again! We were welcomed nicely and had an amazing home cooked dinner, which was very delicious! Thank you for your hospitality and for the nice stay!

Andre is a great host. It was wonderful to get a warm home-cooked meal after a long trip from Cape Town to Windhoek. The room was big with comfortable beds and a shower and bath - with hot water! We recommend Andre's place as the perfect stop-over.
