Very glad to have had our family stay at this property, the owner was very helpful and the kitchen staff was very nice, his food was also really good! Great place to have a family gathering, with a pool and all the amenities at a reasonable price! Recommend

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! We were four adults staying here for 3 days and our time flew by. The property is located on a stunning, pristine beach. Aside from fishermen in the morning and a spattering of tourists, we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. The property looks just like the photos - nice rooms and a swimming pool which the staff cleaned daily. A highlight of our stay was the home cooked food. We had fantastic Sri Lankan meals thanks to the villa's team. Only major complaint was the lack of outdoor umbrellas - we had to keep moving our lounge chairs to follow the shade from the trees throughout the day. Also we were able to enjoy swimming but note that the waves on this beach can be deceptively powerful - be careful if you have kids.

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

We loved our time at CJ’s villa, she is such a wonderful host and we really appreciated the personal touches and recommendations. We went with two families and the space worked really well. The villa is in a great location, Marwella beach was our favourite family beach on the south coast (and we went to loads over two months!) The location was chilled and undeveloped allowing for that feeling of dream escapism, whilst still being only a short tuk tuk journey to Hiriketiya when we wanted to dip into the energy there. The Villa itself has huge rooms and loads of outdoor space, we saw so much wildlife from the villa- better than the safari!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in ANB Surf View. MP is an excellent host, polite and helpful. He was there when ever we needed him.The property is extremely clean and well maintained.He had provided all the amenities required for our stay. Its very close to some excellent restaurants. I recommend this place.

Ranjith ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, immer um seine Gäste bemüht und besorgt. Die Villa mit dem wunderschönen und für uns, perfekten Garten ist schwer zu toppen. Geetha versorgt den Garten sehr liebevoll und unaufdringlich. Die Ausstattung mit den Ventilatoren auf der Terrasse und Klimaanlagen im Haus ist sehr durchdacht. Auch die Beleuchtung sorgt für sehr angenehme Stimmung. Wir haben uns schweren Herzens von Ranjith, Geetha und der wunderschönen Villa getrennt.

A very special place in the heart of nature. The garden room with the open windows was really special - we sat in the evenings and watched the birds fly in and perch on the chandelier above our heads. Safari was organized for us which we loved and the food was delicious. Beautiful family next door who hosted and looked after us and their children was so sweet with our three year old! Loved our nature walk around the lake spotting crocs and water buffalo, and getting up for sunrise to watch the eagles and listen to the birdsong. Not to be missed if you’re planning on staying in Yala area!

Indeed a Wilderness in Yala! 2Nights Outdoor Swimming pool with trees & animals around. Amazing Hospitality by Naveen ( Supervisor.) He made sure we had a great stay. Amazing food (Inhouse chef), he even cooked Indian style chicken and potato. We also did the Game drives through Naveen which made the trip superb.(Extra star just for him).

Beautiful place. Quote from 9 year old daughter regarding the booking 'You've outdone yourself this time'. Great initial communication from Simon who also helped with transport from our previous location to the villa. Dinesh who manages the property is discreet but always available and can also provide wonderful breakfasts and dinners if required. The villa is stunning and in a beautiful location albeit very quiet. There are however a number of restaurants within walking distance. Overall a wonderful stay.

Serdecznie polecamy to miejsce. Czyste, komfortowe, w ustronnym miejscu z daleka od hałasu. Bardzo dużo miesjca do wypoczynku w kilka osób. Na miejscu cały czas jest osoba, która pomaga w razie potrzeby. Cudowny basen. Na miejscu kuchnia do dyspozycji, w razie potrzeby także kucharz. Bardzo fajne miejsce dla osób, które cenią sobie komfort, ciekawy design i odrobinę luksusu w Azji. Nie ma klimatyzacji na miejscu, bo willa jest w otwartej formie i to może komuś przeszkadzać

Myself, my wife and our two young children had a fantastic time at Vila Tila! The house is spacious and clean, the pool is huge and spotless and the beach which can be reached through a gate at the back of the garden is quiet and unspoiled. We saw monkeys, lizards, mongoose and also helped baby turtles reach the sea from their hatching point on the beach. All of this aside, the best part of our stay was the staff - Thusara and his team were kind, attentive, and so helpful! Most importantly, the food they prepared for our breakfasts and dinners was absolutely incredible - curries, fresh seafood, meals for the kids, banana fritters…all absolutely delicious. The location of the house feels quite remote but there are things to see and do within a short drive and of course, Rekawa beach is on your doorstep. It is the perfect location to chill, unwind and relax - and you will be well looked after :)

The villa was very nice with everything that we needed. It is very calm and peaceful - for u our family the perfect stay.

We had such a fantastic time in Muhudu Niwasa. The property is located right by the beach with a beautiful garden ladened with coconut trees. The setting was perfect for us to truly unwind and enjoy the beauty the place had to offer. The property had plenty of rooms and beds and the view from the master bedroom with it's long balcony was breath-taking. We went as a group of 7 (incl. 2 small children) and the property catered for what we all needed. Spending time in the swimming pool was a special highlight as both our 5 year old and 3 year old developed a love for swimming while we were there. We felt safe at all times with plenty of activities nearby. Most of all, a very big thank you to Pradeep and Tharakka who took care of us exceptionally well. They were courteous and available and made us feel right at home. We also went kayaking with Pradeep twice as it was such a great experience. Tharakka also took us around in his tukuk which was practical and a lot of fun.

Villa de rêve avec jardin luxuriant et bruit de l'océan ! Excellente communication avec les hôtes, super accueil d'Amith aux petits soins pendant tout le séjour et bon emplacement pour explorer le sud de l'ile.

We hadden een geweldige tijd in de villa van Shanthi. Een hele ruime villa, grote woonkamer met keuken, 2 slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Ook een heel groot zwembad en goede buitenzitjes op het terras en onder de parasol. Niro en Shanthi (en familie) zijn ontzettende aardige mensen, heel behulpzaam ook. We bestelden elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt en hebben ook een keer de Sri Lankan Curry besteld, gemaakt door Shanthi. Allemaal heel goed. Het is daar heel rustig, heel anders dan bijvoorbeeld Frangipani Beach. Wij hadden een scooter gehuurd zodat we de drukte op konden zoeken maar ook naar wat rustigere plekken konden rijden zoals het nabijgelegen Silent Beach of de surf beach Unakuruwa beach. Een goede tijd gehad daar! Als we weer naar Tangalle gaan, komen we daar zeker terug!!

Une villa bien placée a deux pas de l'océan, avec une belle piscine et et une grande cuisine bien équipée pour ceux qui veulent se faire du bon poisson frais acheté au marché en revenant des très belles plages autour de Tangalle... nous avons adoré notre séjour...trop court... Car notre arrivée à Mirissa ( trop touristique) nous fait déjà regretter Tangalle.... Nous aurions dû séjourner plus longtemps chez Sergey, car en plus nous avons eu un excellent accueil de Suresh et son épouse 👍 Bref, nous recommandons fortement cet endroit 🙏. Par contre, si vous voulez découvrir les alentours, il vaut mieux être motorisé ( tuk tuk ou scooter)

It was unforgettable! We were looking for seclusion and relaxation, this place fully met our expectations. The villa is located in a beautiful, quiet spot where you can hear nothing but the sound of the ocean and the birds singing. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, but we would have preferred one large blanket instead of two small. The food was delicious and various - the chef took into account my lactose intolerance and prepared meals without it, and for my husband he made spicy dishes separately. Although we sometimes chose the same dish, the chef always tried to add something new and interesting. It would have been nice to have more fruits. The staff was always available and ready to help. What stood out the most was when we walked along the beach and watched turtles, and we also enjoyed seeing monkeys, peacocks, and squirrels jumping around the villa grounds - it was so much fun! We were able to slow down, relax, and completely unwind. We would be happy to return here!

My two girlfriends and I had the best time at Koratuwa Villa, from the beginning to the end. The villa is beautiful, especially the garden and pool. We spent every morning with a dip and went back out in the evening to watch the stars (and fireflies!) from the loungers. The rooms were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom - the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! The hosts were so kind, friendly and super communicative. I arranged a meal for our first night which was a godsend as we were exhausted after a big day of travelling, and it was delicious. Cham was so helpful every step of the way, responding to all of our questions and arranging travels and tours to make the most of our stay. The location is perfect - it's super quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle, but you can be at Dikwella or Hiriketiya in 10m by tuktuk (which Cham can arrange for you). One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Already planning the next visit! Thank you!!

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Wild Lotus Villa. Madu and his team were super helpful with transport, restaurant recommendations, organising the safari and local activities. The breakfasts were lovely, and we had the thai dinner one night also which was a really special experience. The whole team put a lot of effort into making a wonderful experience. The villa itself was lovely, and the bathrooms are very luxurious with outdoor showers. The pool is beautiful and adds to feeling like you're staying in an oasis. Overall would really recommend staying here if you're looking to do a Yala safari.
