Waterfront Artist Retreat

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Stargaze from the panorama bed-nook, cook, or take a moment in the rustic wood-burning soak tub after an adventurous day of swimming, kayaking, hiking or skiing. Pieces is a place where you can come to heal, grow, and ground yourself in nature. Amazing access to hiking from your backyard, a day on the lake around the corner, or skiing just 20 minutes away at Gore Mountain, New York’s largest Ski Resort.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Located in the Village of Speculator, a beautiful place in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Right on the snowmobile trail. Kayakers can shove off from the lake right located nearby. Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.

Welcome to Camp Moosehead! Our little piece of rustic heaven in the Southern Adirondacks on the West Canada Creek! We have over an acre of property with a private pond for your viewing, kayaking, fishing and swimming pleasure. Located 30 minutes west of Speculator, our property is close to hiking trails, snowmobile trails and other Adirondack sights. Bring your supplies for the weekend, your sweetie and your well behaved pups and enjoy your stay at the cozy cabin on the creek.

3-Acre Cabin: Private Beach, Sauna, Pool Table

Enjoy a wooded Adirondack setting with all the amenities you need including a fully-stocked kitchen, rec room with pool table and sauna room. You'll have access to a scenic private beach. Gore Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Hiking trailheads are minutes away. The rustic Garnet Hill Lodge & Restaurant is up the road to enjoy lunch, dinner or their cocktail lounge. You can take a 12 minute ride to historic North Creek for restaurants, shopping and antiquing.

Adirondack summer is just around the corner. Whether you come for the rafting or hiking, swimming or kayaking, you'll find endless outdoor adventure not far from the cabin door. In the evening, enjoy the comfort of the screened room or move outside to the campfire circle, watch the stars come out and listen for a local barred owl. Whatever you choose, you'll take home wonderful memories and enjoy excellent hospitality in the high peaks.

Sweet just built cabin with lovely mountain views offers great privacy. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer an all-natural Japanese hot tub and walking trails throughout. Lovely architectural details, beautiful furnishings and wonderful location. In summer, we offer wood fired pizza (most but not all nights).
