Ferienunterkünfte mit Frühstück in High Peak District

We've stayed here before; this is our second visit. The house is just great. Two large bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms (with showers) and a bug living room (with a jukebox!) and a large kitchen/dining room with everything you need in it. I love that John leaves stuff that you need like milk and essentials in the cupboards. Hebden Bridge is lovely, you can go on walks right from the back door of the house and everything about the house just feels like somewhere where John wants to make it feel personal and like you're welcome. Thoroughly recommend.

I can only echo all the positive comments from previous reviewers. Wendy was a delightful host, friendly and conscious of my needs but not intrusive. We had some lovely conversations. The bedroom was quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had my own bathroom; again spotless. There was good choice for breakfast and all was freshly and beautifully cooked - perfect eggs! Many thanks Wendy. I will look forward to a return visit at some point.

Ian and Fiona were very accommodating and welcoming! All communication and provided information was excellent! 😊 The Old Stables is a beautiful house, and the room with the bathroom upstairs is very clean and comfortable. The place is in a perfect location for all kinds of activities: hiking, walking, cycling, mountain biking, etc. - a great place! Highly recommended, and we hope to return! 😊

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay for a trip in the Peak District. The place is clean, comfortable, and everything you need (breakfast, parking, tv, ...) is there to make the stay even better. The hosts, Di and Rob, are very friendly and helpful. Andrea was an incredible host. So kind, helpful and warm, she made me feel right at home. She was also incredibly helpful on recommendations for things to do in the area. The space was lovely, cozy and quiet. I’d highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect apartment. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. Very clean and bright. Every inch is aesthetically pleasing and lots of interesting magazines and books to relax with. With two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is excellent value. There were so many thoughtful extras provided too. Plenty of high quality coffee, tea and other beverages. Fresh milk, bread, butter and fruit as well as cereals, spreads etc. Sue is a very lovely hostess and made sure we had a great stay. All set in a fabulous village location in the Cheshire countryside. 100% Recommend a stay here.

We had an emergency at our house due to some building work and found mikes place on here. It was a short notice weekday booking yet everything was perfect. So thankful for all the little well thought through extras like tea, milk, juice etc. The flat is gorgeous and the garden is beautiful with a lovely view of the hills. We only live down the road but we'd be tempted to book again just to stay somewhere so lovely. Thank you so much mike.

Had a lovely stay at Patrick's property loved it and really friendly guy. Great setting and really close to the park, stayed an extra night because it was so nice.

This was the third time we stayed in Martin and Carmens lovely apartment while our son is studying at the university. It’s such a comfortable and well appointed place within easy reach of Leeds city centre but very quiet and peaceful.

What a wonderful place to escape for a few days. The flat was perfect - really comfortable, clean and spacious. A good hot shower and everything we needed in the kitchen to make life easy. Hebden Bridge is a fantastic place for a mooch and the markets were lovely. Great walks in the area- we didn't need to use the car all weekend.

We loved staying at Jane & Andrew’s “cottage” as I’m calling it. It’s so much more than an apartment, it’s so spacious, beautiful and welcoming with a lovely courtyard at the back along with the hot tub. We didn’t visit the farm since my hubby has had hip & knee surgery recently and the uphill climb would have been too much for him but for sure we’ll be back and hopefully he’ll be fit enough to do it then. The local Sainsbury’s is just a 10 minute walk away so I would walk there and then take a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back with heavy groceries…like Guinness, lol The West End pub is also a 10 minute walk away and a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back too. We flew from Toronto to visit family in Wyke and adored staying in this gem of a place for a week. So peaceful and a perfect size for two adults. The owners’ Grandkids were just next door, so if you have a couple of kids there’s plenty of room for them too and I’m sure they’d all get along, but as just us two adults we had loads of room.

A great find for an overnight or weekend stay or maybe if visiting Old Trafford for cricket or football. Manchester can be visited really quickly, we went by uber which was about £8 and about 10 mins. Also handy for the airport. Bread / spreads and milk / drinks were really appreciated and the chance to watch netflix on the lovely big screen. Sofabed in lounge provides handy second bedroom. Very clean and quiet. Great to be able to park outside.

We had a wonderful stay with Lynn and Gavin, highly recommend their BnB for weddings at Tissington Hall!

David and Justine were incredible hosts and took care of us throughout, they also give lots of support on things to do/places to go eat as well as an excellent breakfast each morning. They went as far as inviting us to a local traditional event which was brilliant to watch. The place and location are fantastic and I can't recommend this stay enough. Thank you!

5* Bed and Breakfast We're so glad to have found this place to spend 4 wonderful nights. We just wish we could have stayed for longer. Karen and Chris were warm and welcoming from the very beginning and took care in showing us around the property which is beautiful inside and out. The room was stunning and had everything you could ever need and the soft and plump furnishings didnt go amiss. Everything was perfect! After a long day of hiking we were able come back to an amazing power shower, a large cosy bed and relax for the night in the nice fluffy robes that were on offer. We were always welcomed with big smiles first thing in the morning and set up for the day ahead with a delicious breakfast. Karen and Chris were always so attentive and friendly which made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We loved our morning chats with Karen, it felt like we had known her for years. We've found a little peace of paradise and we can't wait to visit again x

This is a beautiful place to stay. My room overlooked a pretty garden and was very comfortable. Graham and Carola are both from creative backgrounds and this is reflected in the interior which is full of art. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Mick is a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, comfortable and well-prepared. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking seasonings and essentials which made cooking really easy. The BBQ hob was also a great bonus for outdoor meals. The room and bed were super cozy perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Nick & Dipika were great hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home. I loved all the Cottage decorations and the flowers on the table in the kitchen/dining room. In the midst of the current chaos of COVID the attention to cleanliness was greatly appreciated - the hand sanitiser in the lounge and kitchen/diner, masks in the lounge and disinfectant wipes and spray throughput. I felt very safe. I also appreciated the food available for breakfasts as well as fresh milk. A great experience and superb value for money. The next time I am in the area I will definitely return.
