The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Castleton, Chatsworth, Bakewell & Buxton are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

In a secluded location away from the crowds, Shireoaks Cottage is a traditional 18th Century farm cottage situated on a working hill farm with beautiful moorland views. Well equipped kitchen with Aga, comfortable sitting room and dining room, 2 king sized bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin, 3 ensuites and 1 family bathroom. Outside is a terrace, garden and fire pit. The local town of Chapel -en-le-Frith and the surrounding villages of Hayfield and Chinley plus supermarkets are a short drive.

"The Old Shippon" at Stoop Farm is a modern barn conversion sleeping at least 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton.

This comfortable and well designed one bedroom, one bathroom cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is The Coach House, next door, also new and sleeping 4 people in equal style.
